The location is great. You can see the back of the Pantheon, but it is a quieter side street with shade and a nice wind flow that was welcomed and refreshing all around. We were able to seat a large group of 12 outside which is why we stopped initially. We had the CALAMARI (20euro) which was delicious and generous serving size with a homemade tomato sauce for dipping. (It was so good we dipped our bread and ate every last drop. ) Honestly best calamari we have ever had. We came back a second time just to have it. Some dishes are homemade pasta - some are not. Try the taglioni. We got the "meat grill for 2" for 40 euro. A selection of chicken breast , steak, pork, and sausage come sout in a sizzling cast iron. All the meat was very tasty, especially the sausage to our surprise. It comes with a side of roasted rosemary potatoes and you can ask to have half potatoes - half salad. Potatoes were so good. The salad was not a choice we recommend. The amount of meat was incredible. We were not able to eat even half of it. You could share it easily with 4 people. You could order a single meat choice grill meal and share with 2 people no problem. At the end of the meal they bring you complementary a choice of either strawberry prosecco (made by then) and it is very fun and refreshing drink on a hot day OR a glass of limoncello. They also brought out huge slices of watermelon for the 5 children with "on the house" We would only suggest remove the sign that is advertising "sexy wine" on the door frame. It discredits and cheapened the appeal abs ambiance of the establishment - and made us want to find somewhere else to go. We are glad we stopped because of the food and service.

Came here yesterday cause of the Good reviews that we saw. At first waitress asked us what we wanted and we just said for the drink(canned cola)because we didn’t know what we wanted to eat, it seemd like he didn’t understand us, and than he forgot about us, so the other waiter bringed cola(in a bottle) to us, this wasn’t big problem but i don’t think that it should happend in a place like this. Than the big mistake, our food came and i got some pasta with tomato sauce and bacon, and when I tried it, I was really dissapointed because the pasta was not done! I was expecting really delicious pasta! I told the waiter and he bringed it back to the kitchen and than came with no words and was like,, here you go ‘’or smthng like that, he didn’t apologise (it wasn’t his problem but when something like this happens waitresses usually say something). They just cooked my portion from eatlier and put in on another plate(didn’t even put parmesan on top like on the first place) and it was obvious that they didn’t care that much second time. Overall the food wasn’t bad but it just made the whole experience bad. And when they handed me the right cooked pasta, it was without fork :/ so I just grabed fork from table next to us because I didn’t want to say anything else. And I paid the full price for my food, usually there is discount or something as a ,,sorry’’(desert or else) But here nothing:/ And Im sure that we paid for something extra because we paid 2€ more than we had to, but we didn’t asked for the recipe so it is our problem. I will not come back! (at the photo you can see white stuff in the middle that was pretty hard)

Our party has been in Rome for a week and this is the last place we ate. Experience wise, places that have intense "throwers" outside offering free drinks, tend to have bad food, but we walked for a long time and were tired and needed food nearby. The menu we got was placed into "tired" plastic sleeves and just looked like they needed a replacement. The food was uninspired, seemingly made by someone who gave up on food. The cold cuts plate we got was amazingly bland and boring comparing to the rest of the Rome, with store bought ham and turkey, Chorizo and a few slices of smoked ham. It was sad. The pasta was buttery and tasted weird, being something entirely else than what we've been eating other places in Rome, quite dry and sticky. The pizza had same meats that the cold cuts platter did, with same boring olives. Table had accessories that looked store bought, olive oil in 1L bottles. Everything had same "theme": cut costs and uninspired. The food made me slightly unwell and I couldn't finish and I had to find some Ice cream after wards to clean my palate with something more pleasureable. This place needs a do-over by Gordon Ramzey if it actually cares about the food.

The food was not bad, particularly for the price. But the service was very subpar or pretty much non-existent. Our server was abrasive with every interaction we had with him, from the moment we came in. I thought he maybe was just having a bad day but he seemed fine when interacting with his colleagues. When we were going to ask for side plates, my husband said “Excuse Me” three times, each increasing in volume, as our server was passing right by our table (we were the only table in the inside section of the restaurant) and he proceeded to blatantly ignore us. My husband couldn’t have been any louder or visual while being polite. It then took about a minute to get his attention while he was standing outside. The other server who helped bring out our food had the same demeanour. Not once did the staff ask if we needed anything else. They would always drop the plates in front of us with grim faces, we would thank them, and they would leave immediately. We always had to fight for their attention even though they spent half the time standing with their hands their backs. The last abrasive encounter was when our main server roughly handed me the card machine with my card inserted that it physically scratched the skin between my thumb and index. I’m not sure what we could’ve done to make them so harsh around our group, or if they were just rude from the get-go. For the poor service, I definitely couldn’t justify paying for the cover charge that they don’t even mention in the menu and only...
