The best part of our stay here was the large balcony area that we had where we could see parts of the lake from. The room was clean and the AC was super effective - sometimes too much so - we didn’t have a control in our room but the reception staff helpfully provided us with one. The beds weren’t the comfiest but you could still have a good nights sleep - there was only a thin sheet provided to sleep under which wasn’t great but I’m unsure whether there was any other options since I didn’t enquire about it. Otherwise the staff were pleasant and helpful when needed to be. ||The check-in process was a bit annoying. After a long day of travelling we arrived at around 3pm and the room was still not ready for us but we didn’t have to wait too long. The key for the room is ridiculously and needlessly heavy which was annoying to carry around. The rooms were provided with only two sachets of shower gel & shampoo and two small bars of soap, which was annoying as there wasn’t much to use at all. I’m sure some more could’ve been requested but this is just inconvenient. ||The room only has one European adaptor socket, at least we could only see one which means we had to buy Italian adaptors. We wanted to buy water for the room and snacks but the nearest thing to a proper shop was at least a 40 minute walk away from the town of Sirmione towards the mainland. This is a flaw of the town itself rather than the hotel so I’d advise anyone to bring a few big bottles of water and snacks before you arrive as well as Italian adaptors - I’m not sure if they’re available from the souvenir shops in Sirmione. ||The location of the hotel in Sirmione itself is great. To the left you have the parks and the small beach where you can hire pedalos and kayaks as well as Jamaica Beach which is about a 15 minute walk and has music and a more youthful vibe to the place. To the right you have the centre of Sirmione where you can get lots of lovely icecream and places to eat as well as the castle and the LN026 bus towards Peschiera / Verona and Brescia. ||I’d recommend staying here because of the value of the hotel and it’s...

Read moreThe 3 things this hotel has going for it is: -|1. Position - right on Lake Garda in the centre of the Old Town.|2. Cleanliness - the hotel & room we had were very clean & the bed comfortable.|3. Team - very helpful team members.|That’s as far as it goes - the hotel is very dated & needs a serious upgrade. While we were there in April 2022 they provided your room & breakfast - nothing more (restaurants are plentiful right outside the entrance).|The shower in our room was coffin like & the water pressure pitiful.|The advertised in room air-conditioner couldn’t be used as they only make them available in June!?|There is no laundry facility available.|Be very careful if you take a vehicle in, other than the difficulty of manoeuvring through the crowds, they shut down vehicle access on certain days - we had been out for the day on our motorcycle & returned to be told to park it outside of the entranceway & walk to our hotel. I couldn’t bring it in until 7pm...
