A delightful little hotel in the narrow Via Antiche Mura 2 minutes walk from the ferry. Check-in is at 2pm so if you arrive early you can walk around Sirmione as there is no dedicated lounge or sitting area as the reception is tiny and there are now restaurants either side. However, Sirmione old town is a beautiful place with narrow streets and bougainvillea clinging to the buildings so wandering around is a pleasure. ||I had paid extra for a balcony and was so glad I did, The room - Bougainviller - was spacious and clean and the view of pan tiled rooves and the church and bell tower was fantastic and you could sit out on the balcony in the evening with a drink just enjoying the scenery or people watching.|| It was hot in August and the air-con not that cool but the receptionist managed to get it cooler which was handy. The wi-fi is not that good and we often had to stand by the bedroom door to get a signal so that could probably do with a boost.||There are no mini markets in Sirmione so everything has to be bought from a cafe or restaurant so not that cheap and the hotel has no eating facilities, however, there is a shuttle bus from the tourist information centre which does a loop into downtown Sirmione for 1 euro there and 1 euro back (tickets bought in the info centre and there is an English lady working there who is tremendously helpful) and there you will find a Migross supermarket and a co-op where you can buy wine and groceries very cheaply.||The ladies on reception were very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend the Corte Regina for a short stay. Taxi's can be booked from reception and the ferry jetty is very close by (5 Euro's one way to Peschiera, 30 minutes) a cheap and delightful...

Read moreThe review is for the restaurant, not for the hotel. The restaurant doesn’t have a separate page for a review. The food was decent, still, i need to note that what made the overall experience so bad was the attitude of the staff. We went there to enjoy a nice night with our friends (8 ppl in total, all of which who ate and ordered separate drinks) In all honesty we liked the experience in the beginning, the problems started to surface once we denied their dessert. Their started pushing and rushing us to leave before we even had a chance to finish all the food. They asked to remove the plate of one of the kids twice (still half full of pizza), they even took 2 glasses full of wine off our table before realizing their mistake and bringing them back. To be honest, the list could go on and on with a multitude of examples during which our waiters rolled their eyes or sighed. I will conclude this review by mentioning that this was the first time in my life when i didn’t even get a chance to go to the bathroom before being sent out of the place. We were removed from the table within less than one hour due to their queue of new customers. I don’t recommend this place, it doesn’t bring justice to the overall amazing Italian...
