San Lorenzo Restaurant — Restaurant in Sirmione

My wife and I just got to Sirmione. We were tired and hungry so we stopped at this place to eat. Rude staff and ok food. The first waiter walk us in and literally pointed at a dirty table and then called another waiter to take care of us. We seated ourselves at another table. The second waiter brought the menu and throw them at the table and didn't bother to ask if we would like to drink anything while we look at the menu. We were ignored and after I called the second waiter she was like "ok wait." and called another waiter. The third waiter came to take our order all grumpy and she was rushing us. I felt uncomfortable so I ordered only one main course and salad and told her my wife and I will share. The 4th waiter brought our food. We are sharing one main course so obviously you will place in the middle but she tried to put next to my wife but she had her cup there and she started saying words in Italian. I was like "Excuse me" and she kept saying "prego, prego prego" and left. The food was ok but we ordered a green salad and we got a bowl of one kind of vegetables. I was planning to talk to the manager after we get our bill but the manager himself brought the bill, he was grumpy, not even one smile or how was the food or the service. So to whom can you complain? Lol. Seems like the whole place is bunch of grumpy...

During our first night in Sirmione, we decided to dine at San Lorenzo restaurant. The overall experience was decent, but unfortunately, the food did not live up to our expectations, particularly the pizza we ordered. It fell short of being great and left us somewhat disappointed.

On the positive side, the service at San Lorenzo was decent, and the staff members were polite and attentive to our needs. We appreciated their professionalism and willingness to assist us throughout our meal.

Moreover, the restaurant itself had an impressive ambiance. The interior design was stunning, and the overall atmosphere was inviting and well-maintained. It created a pleasant environment for diners to enjoy their meals.

However, considering the variety of dining options available in Sirmione, we believe there are better choices to explore. While San Lorenzo had its positive aspects, the underwhelming quality of the food was a significant drawback. Therefore, we would recommend exploring other restaurants in the area that offer more satisfying culinary...

Mentre con mia moglie passeggiavamo per il meraviglioso centro di Sirmione sul lago di Garda in Lonbardia e siamo rimasti spiazzati da una violentissima tormenta rifugiandoci in questo ristorante pizzeria con tavolinijrerni ed anche all’aperto sotto il dehor coperto. Ringraziando il cameriere che ci ha trovato in un tavolo interno ci siamo seduti. In questo ristorante è possibile ordinare pasta carne pesce pizze e dolci. Abbiamo ordinato come secondi un fritto misto di mare con salsa aioli con contorno insalata mista ed una pizza valtellina con pomidoro freschi mozzarella rucola scaglie di grano e bresaola. Infine come dessert fragole al naturale ed ananas. Siamo rimasti soddisfatissimi dalla bontà genuinità ed abbondanza dei secondi e dei desserts. Un discorso a parte merita il personale quasi tutto del Sud Italia molto numeroso accogliente sorridente competente cordiale e disponibile mentre il servizio è stato attento veloce e caro.

While my wife and I were walking through the wonderful center of Sirmione on Lake Garda in Lombardy and we were surprised by a violent storm, taking refuge in this restaurant pizzeria with small tables and also outside under the covered terrace. Thanking the waiter who found us at an inside table, we sat down. In this restaurant you can order pasta, meat, fish, pizzas and desserts. As second courses, we ordered a mixed fried seafood with aioli sauce with a side of mixed salad and a Valtellina pizza with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, rocket, wheat flakes and bresaola. Finally, as dessert, natural strawberries and pineapple. We were very satisfied with the goodness, genuineness and abundance of the second courses and desserts. The staff, almost all from Southern Italy, deserves a special mention, very numerous, welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and helpful, while the service was attentive, fast and expensive.

Als meine Frau und ich durch das wunderschöne Zentrum von Sirmione am Gardasee in der Lombardei spazierten, wurden wir von einem heftigen Sturm überrascht und suchten Zuflucht in diesem Restaurant mit Pizzeria, das sowohl Tische als auch eine überdachte Terrasse im Freien bot. Wir dankten dem Kellner, der uns an einem Tisch im Innenbereich gefunden hatte, und setzten uns. In diesem Restaurant kann man Pasta, Fleisch, Fisch, Pizza und Desserts bestellen. Als Hauptgericht bestellten wir gebratene Meeresfrüchte mit Aioli-Sauce, dazu einen gemischten Salat und eine Veltliner Pizza mit frischen Tomaten, Mozzarella, Rucola, Weizenflocken und Bresaola. Zum Nachtisch gab es Erdbeeren und Ananas. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität, Natürlichkeit und Fülle der Hauptgerichte und Desserts.
