The hotel has a prime spot overlooking Lake Garda. We found it relaxing and peaceful, away from the hoards of tourists that visit the town daily from other parts of Garda. The view from the boardwalk is breathtaking. ||Food and drink were good quality and they offered a good range for breakfast. Limited bar offerings. Pizza was good although we were disappointed they didn't serve light snacks like nachos or panini, just meals. ||Plenty of sunbeds overlooking the lake. It was never a problem getting one or two, whatever time of day. ||The rooms were clean and spacious, and could be cleaned every day if required. We stayed on the second floor. One had a lovely Juliet balcony overlooking the lake. Wonderful to wake up to. ||The room decor was really quite dated with a random selection of furniture - wooden wardrobes featuring the alphabet. The bathroom also needed serious attention. It wasn't really what we expected for a 4-Star hotel - especially considering the cost. And what's with Italian hotels not having a kettle on them? 🙄||Staff were always pleasant and accommodating, even when they were incredibly busy. ||Local restaurants offer similar food at a variety of prices. We found that those restaurants in the main town square, by the ferry pier weren't as hot on quality it food it service - just pushing tables through as quickly as possible. The food and service at La Roccia was better. ||There are far too many gelato stores though - many clearly owned by the same company. We regularly chose Mancini's, a local gelato maker in Sirmione since 1933. Fantastic quality ice cream - particularly the Tiramisu. ||Overall, a lovely stay, if a little overpriced. Maybe they can spend more of the income on...

I stayed at the Hotel Flaminia in Lago di Garda on July 12, 2025, with a couple of friends. We made two identical reservations, paying the same price, but our experiences were completely different.||They received a renovated, clean and modern room, and we were assigned to an old, run-down room, with a heavy and unpleasant smell, especially from the bathroom. The room was visibly unkempt and below any standard for a 4-star hotel.||We went to the reception and explained the situation, asking for at least a room of a similar level to our friends. The answer was completely devoid of empathy: we were told that they “received a superior room” and that if we wanted equality, they could be moved to a bad room like ours, but under no circumstances should we be moved to a better one.||It is completely unacceptable that two rooms booked and paid for at the same rate should be treated so differently. It seems that the hotel assigns rooms randomly or at will, with no respect for the customer or fairness.||The reception staff were arrogant, inflexible and unprofessional. We felt no desire to help or improve our experience, on the contrary - we were treated like second-class customers, even though we paid exactly the same.||We leave with a bitter taste and will not return. Hotel Flaminia does not deliver the quality or service it promises. I do not...

cant say anything about the stay, cause I got strongly motivated to cancel our reservation: (disclaimer: everything during free-cancellation-period) wanted to speed up departure 1 day, not possible via booking, so wrote an email - got an answer with a fair offer and info i had to call them. when i called another employee was on the phone and told me i have to call tomorrow he cant help me. so i did and then another employee said he would prepare it and send me the offer, then i have to call again to confirm. this offer was to cut 1 day and let me pay 250€ more than my original price. Also I wrote multiple times I wanted a psrking spot, then i got a message i have to write a mail again to get the adress etc. Then the spot got booked for the orignal stay and not as i said, on day less because we definetely have to leave that day. could not be changed since it is somehow linked to the booking-reservation so I'd have to pay a full day more for an empty parking space. Since I'm not allowed to change the reservation, the hotel says it's not able to change the reservation or make a reasonable offer and booking customerservice sends an auto-reply one should try to contact the hotel directly fornthe quickest solution, i just booked...

WARNING!!! worst hotel experience ever! Don’t look on fake positive comments! Old hotel with terrible service! We booked a comfort class room for $300/day, below is the photo that we received - the room did not match the photo on booking.com, it was facing the wall, the garbage can and the kitchen below. When we asked to change the room or cancel the reservation - the receptionist said that there are no rooms and that there will be no cancellation, so sorry - you must live there. after talking to booking.com and waiting for 2 hours after the receptionist talked to them - suddenly there was a replacement room, also old, but at least with a view of the lake. There is no parking in hotel, so you must pay for public parking, and if you will not booked the driver the day before living - you will go with your bags by yourself through full of tourists city. Terrace closed after 6:00 pm, and turn to a restaurant, and when you swim - there are guests of public restaurant on terrace and a lot of public boats, so better book something in the city, because you will not get, what you expect! The hotel is outdated and does not compete with new hotels, it needs renovation and a change of management!

Wow, what a spot. Hotel Flaminia is absolutely amazing, and honestly, you couldn't ask for a better location. It's right on the water, literally. We're talking private sun terrace with direct access to the lake—it was the perfect place to just chill and soak up the sun. The service was top-notch. Everyone was so friendly and professional, always happy to help with a smile. It felt like they genuinely cared about us having a great time, which made the whole stay feel really special. Our room was beautiful—clean, modern, and with a view of the lake that was just incredible. Waking up to that every morning was a dream. The on-site restaurant was a huge plus too, with a terrace right over the water. If you're coming to Sirmione, this is the place to stay. You get a perfect location, amazing service, and a truly unforgettable experience.

We came during the off-season after the new year and had a pleasant one day stay. The place is beautiful and right on the water in the heart of the old city. You’ll definitely like it. If you arrive by car, they will get you a parking spot outside the castle (no cars allowed in the town) and a shuttle bus no problem ($20 including parking). It was very easy but we sure to book your trip back in advance ( you can also walk.) The restaurant was nice with good pizza, beer and a beautiful view. Even in January we sat outside on a sunny day. We caught some lucky weather and dined on the water. Hotel is pleasant with a bohemian 1970’s design — kinda like The Standard in Miami. Clean comfy room. Not ultra Lux but very comfortable and perfect for a little holiday. A very short walk to the castle and shops. Would like to come back.
