We stayed here for a few days in October 2023. The hotel is an old building that has been converted into a hotel with an "eclectic" interior and a restaurant on the lakeside. The room: We stayed in room 64, which has a small balcony overlooking the lake above the restaurant. The room is tiny, with really not enough space to unpack. The furniture is a mix of old and new and quite dated. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable but shows signs of wear and tear. The restaurant: OK food and poor service. Overall, the service is a major problem with this place as the people do not seem to really care. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and is "OK", the standard hotel type.

It was okey. We stayed there for one night. Room was okey with air conditioning and it seems clean. The complete hotel looks a bit old but thats okay. The people there was very nice. The hotel promotes that you can swim in the sea directly from the hotel - thats almost true: The hotel restaurant is build with tables on the peer where you can enter the water so you need to go through the eating people in the restaurant to go into the water. You can Park outside of Sermione at another Hotel an book a shuttle service for 15€. We did this and I can recommend it. The breakfast was also only okey. See my pictures for more informations about the hotel.

The Rooms are so clean, nice and The location is perfect but the staff are not that much kind and nice. I went there for my birthday, usually in any hotels when i go for my birthday they offer at least a bottle of wine for welcome. But they did not. The restaurant also is so nice and cute, we ordered a pizza and a cesar salad, cesar salad was not a cesar salad and our pizza was cold (but the taste was good). For the breakfast u cannot have hot drink as much as u want. After the second order u have to pay for any hot drink. Break fast is not fantastic but not bad. The juices are not natural.

Everything was Poor, except location. We stayed 26 June to 1st July 5 nights. The building is so old, floor is dirty in balcony floor is also dirty, closet is from 1050 and door doesn’t close. In shower no place to put soap or Shampoo. Breakfast was cold. Same for 5 days. We requested in advance with email that we are vegetarian and allergic to eggs so then they said when you come speak to us. First morning we went for breakfast and request guy who works there ignor, no hot breakfast, no toaster, only thing we can eat fruit ( that was same Orange, Pairs, plums & Kewi) only one kind bread no toaster and cereal. We ask for tea and we like strong tea and ask for two tea begs which they gave us but then we ask for Capechno they said two tea begs means u had two tea so now you have to pay for it. It was European small cup and only one cup but since we use tea begs so it was two cups. They had limit that we were unaware off so I told them to put in when we booked nothing said that so it was mis lead. U think the guy Luca ignore then explain to me that in Italy one tea begs means two cups tea begs even u use one cups of water and I told him we were Italy in Rome, Florence, Pizza, Milan, Amalfi coast , spend in few trip almost 40 days none of the place two tea begs means two tea also no limit of how many cups u drink. I told him it’s your hotel policy not Italy’s policy still ignore us and no smile and no sorry . Our American choice hotel & Motel is better then this, In room no kettle or no cups no water nothing in 110 digress weather. Air conditioning they control that your room never gets cold. In bathroom they only put Shampoo & Soap that first day their then we have to ask them every day. I told them we are paying same amount every day why their is only first day toiletry and every day we have to ask for it. We are on our vacation from this far why we have to ask every day for small things. Still everything was ignored by Lucas. Hotel is such outdated from 1920’s, bathroom is small and service with no smile and breakfast is cold and horrible, same everyday. Location was good but what good . You might stay little further where u pay less and get better services with smile and hot & variety of food of breakfast. Will go back to lake Garda but never go to this hotel or tell anyone else.. I also have photos of...

Recommend staying anywhere else but if you have to stay here:

  1. this is a restaurant first, with the hotel as an after thought. The Lake Garda pier is covered with restaurant tables, which is great for breakfast and meals, but means the hotel hides its sun loungers to the side with no lake view, in between two ugly concrete walls and air con vents. Supposedly guests can use the lake access at all times but the restaurant layout blocks the lake access with tables and chairs so you effectively can't get to the lake from the hotel. Also, good luck walking through three rows of tables in your swimwear to get to the lake. Zero facilities for guests to enjoy so you are forced to find somewhere to go during the day. Every other hotel puts their sun lounges on their pier so guests can enjoy the lake during the day - not Hotel Pace. If you stay here, walk to the Lido on the east side which takes 5 mins and is a far nicer way to spend your day.
  2. the parking isn't free. It's €15 per day to park in another hotel's carpark that's outside the old town. There's a shuttle service to take you to Hotel Pace but the buggy is tiny (no more than 2 suitcases in one trip) and you're dropped off at the old Town entrance and you have to wheel your luggage to the hotel that's a few minutes walk away. Cars are allowed inside the old town so not sure why Hotel Pace can't drop you off at the hotel itself.
  3. you can't make restaurant reservations, even as a paying hotel guest. So you risk not finding a table, and so bizarrely no advantage to being a hotel guest. The only person who can reserve tables is the owner for himself....who obviously takes the best tables on the pier for sunset views. Restaurant is over priced compared to others in the area.
  4. breakfast is average, with dirty plates and fruit flies everywhere.
  5. rooms are extremely dated but OK. We had a problem with our aircon which the hotel fixed promptly. The rooms are clean and the bed was...

Booked here as a family of 6 as had seen this restaurant on TikTok. We had booked for sunset which was lovely. We had asked for a table by the lake which was very nice also and restaurant was very accommodating of this. On arrival, we were given 2 menus which was difficult to choose food and drinks. Waiter had kept asking us if we were ready with a very negative attitude. Had given us more menus and we had ordered our food. Table was booked for 20:00pm. One of the dishes was served at 21:00hrs. The rest of the food arrived at 21:20pm. Food was mediocre for what we paid for. Drinks also took a while to arrive. We have stayed in Lake Garda for 7 days and this is by far the worst food experience we have had.. We had asked to move inside as we were feeling cold by the lake. The waiter was very unimpressed by this and made us feel uncomfortable for asking this request. We had asked for the bill and the women who put the bill through was very apologetic of this. There was a service charge on our bill which was to include bread however no bread was received. It seemed that the rest of the restaurant had bread and oil however we did not have this.||I definitely would not recommend anyone to have a meal here however the view of the lake was lovely and the sunset was gorgeous which was one of the...
