Sorrento Experience — Hotel in Sorrento

To begin with, Gaetano (the accommodation's owner/host) is an extremely kind man. On top of being friendly, which I'm sure he's to all of his guests, he was also very kind and supportive to us. On our way to the accommodation, on the first day, I had an accident, and had to go to the hospital emergency room immediately. Since neither my wife nor I spoke Italian, and anyone hardly spoke any English there, we had a very difficult time. Gaetano came to the hospital, clarified things with the doctors, picked up my wife, took her to the accommodation and checked her in, and then picked me up again later on from the hospital after the treatment was over. He also dropped us off on the last day. Despite our requests, he never took any taxi charge or anything. We were very fortunate to have had him as the host there.

And of course, the accommodation itself is top class. Very clean, very pleasant environment, close to the town center, and the complimentary breakfast too was pretty good. Despite the unfortunate accident, the overall stay in Sorrento turned out to be positive, mainly thanks to Gaetano and his comfortable place. On our way to the hotel, my husband had a minor accident, and we had to go to an emergency department. We had a tough time communicating with people in the hospital, since we don't speak Italien. I called Gaetano to inform him about the situation, and requested him to wait for us a bit longer to check-in the hotel. Gaetano not only agreed to wait, but he picked me and my husband from the hospital to the hotel, and also communicated with the doctors on behalf of us to clarify the things. Such a good human being he is ! Regarding the stay, the place is very clean, spacious and also near to city center. I would definitely recommend to stay here. we have been to Sorrento many times all ways staying in large hotels for a couple of weeks. We booked the jr suite as were staying for six weeks.||our balcony was #so big about 18 ft x 10 ft and had a nice quality table and chairs you can see glimpses of the sea and a fantastic view of mount Vesuvius. our room was very large and airy , it had a VERY comfortable Bed, a large sofa bed||a small desk and chair wardrobe , bed side tables with lamps.||it was not just clean it was SPOTLESS, as was the en-suite and there was always hot water. our room was serviced 6 days a week||the hotel is owned and run by geotanno (pronounced Guytanno) and his sister Rosianna is the house keeper both of them are nice and decent human beings, they are both very friendly and helpful,Its only 15 minuets from Tasso Plaza||from Tasso Plaza turn right pass fauno and walk to the top of the road, turn right and after about 5 mins you will see a church and turn left directly before the church and it will take you to the lane where this amazing hotel is at the top of the lane. we cant wait to go and...
