Simply Amazing!!! My husband booked me a surprise 4 day break to Sicily for my birthday & what a gift it was :). We had the most fabulous few days & ISOCO guest house had a lot to do with it. Michael & Ambra were absolutely amazing from start to finish & even before we had left England had everything in place down to what we wanted for breakfast to fulfilling our request of doing part of our stay in a room with a balcony (view was breath taking) & the other in the room equipped with a hot tub so we had the best of both!
Once we got to ISOCO guesthouse I was instantly in love. It’s just stunning but with a certain quirkiness about it which we loved! The views are out of this world from the balcony’s & terrace tops & you have the luxury of a hot tub on one of the terrace’s which myself & husband took full advantage of. Unlike many other places ISOCO feels very private being there is only a few rooms. This we liked as it felt like we had the place to ourselves a lot of the time making feel tranquil, peaceful & quiet as opposed to the hustle & bustle of some big hotels catering to lots of people. The guest house is also close to the town centre where you have absolutely everything so there was no need for transport or taxi rides which was also a bonus!
Being it was our first time in Sicily Taormina we were clueless as to what we wanted to do whilst there. Ambra did the brilliant job of filling us in with nice places to eat & fun things to do, most of which we did. Sicily was absolutely stunning & everywhere you went you just wanted to take a picture! If you want to book any excursions we went through Michael who actually arranged everything for us & saved us quite a lot of money as the travel reps in town were actually charging quite a lot more! One day Michael actually txt my husband telling us he had some free tickets to the Italian Opera & would we like them (for free). Of course we obliged and this is what I mean when I say ISOCO went above & beyond in making our stay what it was & that was nothing short of perfect. We also did Etna (Volcano hike) & Gambino (wine tasting) whilst there & both I would highly recommend just remember your warmers if you want to visit the Volcano as it can get quite chilly up there.
Lastly a special little shout out to Lava (the dog) & Tony (the cat) who both are part of the ISOCO family & helped to make our stay. Thank you to everyone at ISOCO as I know there is a few more people that helped make our stay, a return to you guys surely can’t come quick enough! It’s been THE BEST! Don’t believe me? The photos speak...

Our stay at was nothing short of extraordinary at Isoco house I am thrilled to share the details of our unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived “Home”, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our time at the resort was nothing short of magical.
A standout member of the team was our concierge . His attention to detail was impeccable, and he played a pivotal role in making our stay truly exceptional. From meticulously arranging our breakfast menu selection’s delicious fresh fruit, fresh baked still hot delivered croissants and hard rolls.
Mihel dedication to our comfort and enjoyment was evident in every interaction. His daily check-ins personalized our experience, making us feel like valued guests and, quite frankly, like VIPs. It was Mikel ? who truly made our vacation.
From dinners recommendations to places that are a must see.
our drinks from mini barnwere replenished but also went the extra mile to make us feel pampered and well taken care of every day!
The overall atmosphere at isoco house felt like a home away from home.
The warmth and hospitality extended by the entire staff created an inviting and comfortable experience. The attention to detail, coupled with the genuine desire to enhance our experience, set this guesthouse apart.
As we reflect on our time at isco house it's clear that the staff, especially Mikel , played a pivotal role in creating lasting memories. We are already eagerly anticipating our return to this paradise where luxury meets genuine hospitality. we cannot wait to relive the magic on our next visit!.

Read moreTaormina truly embodies La Dolce Vita, and Isoco was the best way to spend our belated honeymoon. From the location and distance to everything worth seeing, tasting and experiencing, we could not have dreamt of more. Michele, our host, was incredible. Upon arrival, he directed us to all the gems this Sicilian dream could provide. His knowledge and integration into the community were insightful and reassuring. Different artists inspired the rooms, and it was amazing to immerse ourselves. Every morning like clockwork, we received our croissants, deli meats and cheeses that we turned into sandwiches for our daily treks through the winding streets of Taormina, Mazzaro and Castle Mola. The climb to Castle Mola starts at Isoco conveniently, but the trek up about 500m was a good test. But just as you take a break, every 10m or so due to our full bellies, you turn around, taking in the dramatic landscape. It is our favourite place in the world. The restaurants, suggested by Michele, were on point, and I still dream of the Cannolis and Lemon Leaf Wrapped Meatballs of 3/4. After our long walks, which were many, we would retreat to our little paradise on the rooftop patio of Isoco for a warm hot tub soak. A must for all is the walk down to Isola Bella, where they filmed La Dolce Vita. The walk-up isn't too bad, yet after the pizzas and antipasti on the beaches, we took the cable up most of the time. There is so much to experience, and the friendliness of the people is just refreshing. The only thing we didn't like was leaving. It is a fantastic place, and Isoco is so well put together. Thank you, Michele and the team at Isoco, for an incredible experience. We'll...
