《草津のおしゃれカフェ》

【立地】 草津の湯畑から徒歩2分という好立地の、坂道にあるカフェ。周りのお店も雰囲気が良く、道中お散歩を楽しみながら訪れられる。 【価格】 スイーツ単品900円〜、ドリンクセットで1300円〜。名物「どらてぃら」のドリンクセット（1320円）と「抹茶パルフェ」単品（990円）を頼み、合計金額2310円だった。カフェでお茶をするのには少し高いと感じた。 【食事】 店の看板商品「どらてぃら」は、「職人が一枚一枚丁寧に焼き上げたどら焼きが丸ごと一つ入った話題のティラミス」だ。どら焼きの中身は花いんげん豆でできた餡が入っていて、周りにはティラミスクリーム、上には抹茶パウダーがたっぷりとかかっていて、和洋折衷のスイーツだった。クリームが濃厚なので2人くらいで分けて食べると丁度良いと感じた。 「抹茶パルフェ」は上から宇治抹茶、バニラアイス、ホワイトチョコシリアル、花インゲン豆の密煮、ホイップクリーム、宇治抹茶寒天ゼリーが層になっていた。寒天ゼリーなどが入っているので意外とさっぱりとして食べやすかった。 【サービス】 草津のお店や旅館は外国人労働者が多いが、このお店も外国人労働者が接客をしていた。（日本人の店員さんもいた）カフェとしてのサービスは問題ない。

《Stylish Cafe in Kusatsu》 [Location] A cafe on a slope, conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the Yubatake in Kusatsu. The surrounding shops also have a nice atmosphere, so you can enjoy a stroll along the way. [Price] Sweets start at 900 yen, and drink sets start at 1300 yen. I ordered the specialty "Dorateira" drink set (1320 yen) and a "Matcha Parfait" (990 yen), for a total of 2310 yen. I felt that it was a little expensive for tea at a cafe. [Food] The shop's signature product, "Dorateira," is "the much-talked-about tiramisu that contains a whole dorayaki that has been carefully baked by a craftsman." The dorayaki is filled with bean paste made from kidney beans, surrounded by tiramisu cream, and topped with plenty of matcha powder, making it a Japanese-Western fusion dessert. The cream is rich, so I felt it was just right to share it between about two people. The Matcha Parfait was layered from top to bottom with Uji matcha, vanilla ice cream, white chocolate cereal, simmered kidney beans, whipped cream, and Uji matcha agar jelly. The agar jelly and other ingredients made it surprisingly light and easy to eat. I went here looking at the menu, and ran out of time to order anything, but I ended up buying three dorayaki to go, and they were amazing. Flavourful, but not too sweet. The temperature in n the cafe was just right with no air conditioning, even though it was hot outside (it's summer, like 32°C and in an hot springs district) I only wish I had time to try more! With the set you can choose either Hojicha or Matcha Tiramisu and then you can choose a hot or cold beverage.

The tiramisu was delicious and very filling! Be prepared to have a happy full stomach :) if you would like to buy more, you can buy some to go.
