An obscure amd extremely small boutique hotel with an inconspicuous exterior that is easy to miss when finding your way there, but pleasantly surprises with charming interiors and furnishing, made of mostly wood and organic materials. There are even murals of sorts depicting lotuses, etc., and that applies to both the hotel's lobby and its rooms. Needless to say, it is warm, inviting, zen-like and cosy, with yellow lighting peeking through various crevices and ledges in the hotel. Large rooms with lovely paper, wood and plaster surfaces, more than sufficient natural soap bars and high quality shower consumables, and great shower head design. Breakfast comes as a set comprsing of yogurt granola, coffee or tea, two pieces of bread, a very small bowl of soup, and a platter of six small dishes. They all tasted great, although I did find myself wanting a slightly larger portion of each dish served on the platter. Seems like an older apartment that was totally revamped and turned into a hotel. Whoever did the remodel didn't cut corners. Plenty of space, can easily sleep 3 people with enough space for luggage. Great furnishing and left with nothing to complain about.
Mattress is airweave which is known to be a quality mattress in Japan.
It's not your typical "hotel." There's about 5-6 rooms and it feels like you're a guest at someone's house.
Front is totally bilingual. We exchanged Japanese and English.
There is a cafe called Walden Woods Cafe a block or two away PLEASE GO!
Breakfast was unique and reminded me of Bed n Breakfast.
You get a smartphone you can take with you. The phone is NOT hotspotable.
Solid wifi, big tub, separate bathroom, plenty of closet space, etc.

It was so serene and quiet during my stay…felt like I was the only one there!||||Rooms were extremely spacious and immaculately clean. I absolutely loved the design of the room and bathroom. There were also many extras such as toothbrush/paste, hair brush, pony tails, cotton swabs, shower cap, pajamas. Water with activated charcoal provided as well.||||The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and provided recommendations as needed.
