We walked in at 6:45pm on a Sunday evening and it was not crowded at all (however, it is recommended to book a place first). We chose the dinner course - Jidori & Wagyu yakiniku course - I used Google translate to understand the menu. 3 appetizers: I apologise as I forgot what the dishes exactly were but you can refer to my pictures below. They were mainly vegetables. Rating: 2/5 (disclaimer: I don't like vegetables) Salad: Had two good beef strips on it. The vegetables were crisp and the tomato was soft. Rating: 3/5 First dish: A dish of stewed beef(?) that melts in your mouth. I like the sauce but keep in mind that the beef here is quite fatty. Rating: 4/5 5 pieces of chicken: Good chicken. Rating 4/5 6 slices of Wagyu beef: If cooked properly, it melts in your mouth. The sweet sesame oil sauce is average and I apologise because I didn't taste the wasabi. Rating: 4/5 (if cooked properly. If not, you'll be eating rubber)
(Slight) cons: One male waiter pulled a long face when I called him to help me understand the menu. I understand that we have a language barrier, though, so maybe it's just us being humans. Unfortunately, the table I sat in had an awfully sticky floor. My shoes felt like they were glued in. However, it was probably...

Decent enough place, but competition in Japan is very high. We had 2 male servers that were mediocre...one gave us a hard time about bringing a Coke Zero (no Coke Zero on offer...we had a diabetic person in our party) into the place and the other acted inconvenienced since we didn't have a reservation (the place was mostly empty). Those 2 spoiled the experience. The rest of our servers were fantastic, but it only takes one bad apple to spoil a good time.
Skip the chicken, we got the mid-tier Wagyu and it was okay (on par with US beef). We visit Japan regularly for the culinary experience and the food was mid-tier but at a premium (for Japan) price.
For 4 adults (1 plate of chicken and 3 plates of beef) with booze and deserts, we spent $130. We visited on...
Read moreReally great food. The Sake tasting was well worth it. We had a selection of beef and chicken + the mixed vegetables- all grilled at the table by us. My son got the cheese sausages and fries and they were also very good (and he could grill his sausages, too). We had desserts (crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e and waffle with ice cream) both really good! Very family friendly. You order via a QR code from your phone at the table (free WiFi available if you donât have mobile data). They had an English menu and the phone app was also dual language and had pictures of the food. It was super easy to order (especially helpful as after 2 weeks of using our terrible Japanese language skills and pantomime, eating out was becoming a bit stressful.). This restaurant has it all - good food, easy to order and it was just fun! Highly recommend!! Best part we reserved via google which made it...
