when i was travelling in nagano, the rewind knob of my new film camera fell off and went missing. i came into this store to ask if they had the parts and the kind owner and his wife spent a lot of time searching through their spare parts to help me. even though they didn't have all the complete parts, he fixed the camera for me, got it working and even cleaned the inside as it had some mould i hadn't noticed when i bought it the week before in kyoto. on top of that, he only asked for ¥100 for all this effort. i bought a roll of film to thank him and he helped show me how to load it as it was my first time using this camera. thank you for going above and beyond in your service!...

This is a wonderful and authentic film camera shop. They have small selection of digital cameras and a wonderful selection of reconditioned and beautifully presented 35mm and other film cameras. Also they have a wide range of accessories. I purchased a sweet Olympus Trip 35 and a Nikon EM. Both were well prepared, cleaned and serviced. Sales staff were helpful and very knowledgeable. As I said "authentic" camera people and not just box-shifters. I was very happy with the prices I paid. (I had already see some rip-off prices for vintage Olympus equipment in a Kyoto hipster store). Very satisfied with my purchase. Bought a film slr for a very good price and it was in perfect condition. The owner is extremely helpful and hospitable, all camera’s are in good working condition unlike the ones in tokyo where you buy the camera and have to deal with its issues. The seller is very knowledgable on the cameras and how they work, he also fixes them so he is not just a seller. I came in for a manual slr but the seller recommended an automatic slr with a very high zoom lens, and i am very happy i listened to him it is my most favorite camera.
