KITTE Osaka — Local services in Osaka

KITTE Osaka was built up with the concept of fashionable person, items and affairs at the Southern West ward of JR Osaka station. The place was that of former Osaka Central Post, this is why named following the Japaner pronouciation of post stamp. So interesting and eye-opening construction as it is at the beginning, similar with Kyoto station, people will be bored sooner or later. Nothing interestiong was found inspite of hi-expectations. Just because of new construction visitor will come, but no further more. We need something more? Just a glancing for foreign visitors might...

まだ店舗が入っていない所が多い。 独創的な店舗は多く空間を楽しむには良いかもしれません。 こちらだけの特別店舗がある訳でも無く店舗面積が狭めで品数が少ないです。 美術館のように振り切れば良かったのかもしれません。

空き店舗多数で、小さめのビルなので見て回るのはあっという間に終わります。 飲食店は他の駅近の場所で安い所がたくさんあるので事が足ります。 多数の店舗で挨拶が無いので気持ちよくコミュニケーションを楽しみたい関西の店舗としては弱め。 特に休憩スペースも無いので雰囲気を楽しむにも限界があり、また行きたい要素は無し。

物産展は商品の入れ替わりが早く見ていて楽しいかもしれません。

There are still many vacant spaces without stores. While there are several unique shops, the limited space doesn’t offer a wide selection, and there isn’t a particular store that stands out. It might have been better if they fully embraced a museum-like concept.

With many empty spaces and the building being relatively small, you can finish looking around quite quickly. As for dining, there are plenty of cheaper options in other nearby areas closer to the station. Many stores lack proper greetings, which is a weak point for a shop in Kansai, where people generally enjoy pleasant communication. Additionally, there is no rest area, so the atmosphere can only be enjoyed to a limited extent, and there isn’t much incentive to return.

However, the rapid turnover of products at the specialty fair may make it fun to browse.

I love this mall. You are able to get other regional specialties here and the prices are also relatively similar! I recommend the hyakuryu somen, hokkaido hori yubari melon jelly and garaku curry.
