We stayed at Iori Miyagawa for 3 nights, March 2018. The house is an original home situated in a quiet street in the old district. As a traditional style home the facilities are basic but very adequate. Sleeping rooms furnished with comfortable futons were on the top floor accessed by narrow steep stairs which may be a consideration for the less mobile. Although during our stay temperatures dropped to -2 degrees the main rooms were comfortably heated. There is a small balcony off the main living area which overlooks the river and catches the afternoon sun. There is no TV which wasn't an issue for us. Breakfast was prepared fresh and delivered by 7am daily; it alternated daily between a Japanese style and Western style. Walking distance to major attractions, close proximity to some good restaurants.
