横綱 Hotel - Stay SAKURA Tokyo Asakusa — Hotel in Tokyo

The room has a lot of space and the air conditioning is very powerful, but there is no window that can directly see the outside scenery. There is a kitchen where you can cook, but there is no seasoning. There is a microwave and an oven which is quite convenient for making instant noodles and so on. It's also quite good. There are five beds. The two rooms combined have five beds. In addition, we didn't use the tatami in the third room. One drawback is that you have to walk gently because of their partition problem. The store will knock it. The door said we were running around and should walk more gently, but in fact it was probably caused by children in other rooms. The bathroom is also very complete, but you have to be very gentle with your movements, otherwise the sound will be loud. The rooms were spacious and especially loved the wide terrace with a great view of the SkyTree. There also is a kitchenette which is helpful for those who would like to cook and eat in the rooms.

The service for the most part was great but the lack of daily housekeeping was a bit disappointing. We stayed 5 nights and only received one cleaning service and even that was not as thorough as other hotels with daily cleaning.

The location is quite a walk away from public transportation access which could be tough for those with mobility issues but it also allowed us to pass through the beautiful Sensoji each day.

For the price we paid, I was happy...

Nice and quiet location but still super close to Sensoji Temple (2 minute walk). Lawson’s across the street and bus stop right around the corner. It is a bit of a walk to the Asakusa Station though (12-15 minute). The rooms were super clean and a good size (for Tokyo standards). We had a small balcony and view of the sky tree as well. They have laundry facilities on site but the only complaint is the machine is really small and the dryer takes a long time - if you need laundry done you get bigger machines for the same price at the laundry mat around the corner.
