Asakusa, Tokyo Japan
This is our last hotel stay for a couple of days before heading back to Melbourne.
Service & Location [5]. Overall, this is a great location, walking distance to the famous temple and as we check in on the 30th Dec, we had the opportunity to witness the count down on 31st at the temple. It’s so crowded and lively. We head up to the roof top and we saw the lovely Skytree tower and the temple.
There are two washers and dryers, which you use 100 yen coins. The hotel is secured as we checked out on time and left our luggages at the front lobby.
Room [5]. We can’t find much fault in our room. For the value and size, it’s considered good to fit family of four. Decent size room, though one room we can’t put our luggage inside. The kitchen is equipped with utensils and you can cook too. However, for us the food at 7-Eleven is the best ( yes, I have got a review just for 7-Eleven!).
The toilet separate the shower and the “do your business area”, however the washing basin is at another corner.
We got a large LG TV that has Netflix (your own account to login) and YouTube. Local channels pretty much in their local language, even watching a Jackie Chan movie is dubbed in Japanese.
I would highly recommend this hotel as it is super convenient to train station ( a bit of a walk) but there are a lot to see and buy. Also value for money.
PS: Trying to upload some photos, as not sure why it’s...
