Worst hotel I've ever been to in my life.
First thing receptionist says is they do not do room keeping for less than 7 days stay. I have never been to a hotel that does this regardless of 1 or 2 night stay. They also stated to leave the towels from 9-11am at the door on the floor and to pick up at reception. Again, never had to do that in all my hotel stays.
Check out is only through one machine, pictures advertised don't match and receptionists were not Japanese and also not Japanese level of service. It just shows the upper management uses cheap ways to reduce expenses but that's okay if the hotel is good but it is not!
The room was definitely not cleaned properly and is absolutely disgusting and filthy. Smells like wet dog that hasn't been showered before. Dust is everywhere in the room, in the vents and on the air purifier. Fridge had a strange smell and not cold. I literally could not breathe properly and the windows don't open without a key.
I could not be here for another hour so I booked another hotel that did not disrespect their customers like this. The price is cheap compared to other hotels but still not worth it.
Hotels in Osaka and Kyoto were way cheaper with exceptional service and clean rooms so I do not see a valid excuse.
Please don't come here because you are wasting your time and just pay more for a hotel 10x better in every...

My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. The value for the money, location, cleanliness, staff and facilities were all below average. The room size was cramped, and the view was *unimpressive. The window would not open, the furniture was damaged, and they charge 9000 yen for a lost room key which was more than I booked the room for... And also just a huge scam. The two foreign staff that I interacted with had very subpar customer service skills and were *unfriendly. The only positive is that it is close to the Shintomicho station and room was passable condition. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here.
Not on Agoda review - I skimmed the reviews on Google briefly before booking, so I wasn't expecting too much from the staff. I am mainly making this post to warn others about the excessive charging and that overall I don't think it's worth unless you will use the station nearby and only stay for short time. I mainly booked it in case I wanted to shower and to make sure I had space for my bags, but I ended up not showering, so I had a little regret I booked them instead of a more capsule-style at lower price. There was also a balcony that was not accessible.

Read moreThe only positive thing about this hotel is its central location, keep in mind the metro station nearby is on the Yurakucho line but the Ginza line further walk away had better connection to tourist sites. Check-in is all done on a self service machine, we had issues with matching info but the workers helped sort it. No room deposit was required and checkout was really quick. The room as advertised was really tiny but the bathroom is airplane bathrooms tiny. There wasn't enough floor space to fully open our large suitcase also. If you're non-smokers and still thinking of getting the smoking room cos it's cheaper than be warned the stench doesn't go away even if you air out the room (we tried for 5 days) as windows cannot be opened. Room cleanliness was good and so was housekeeping. Aircon, water had no issues there's even a microwave in the room. Bath had all the essential toiletries but they don't provide complimentary water bottles. There's a self-service laundry area that's coin operated on the ground floor and a beverage vending machine just outside the front door. Wouldn't revisit.||Room: 1.5/5|Service: 3/5|Facilities:...
