My wife and I spent 2 1/2 weeks in Japan for our honeymoon and on the second to last day we decided to book a sushi making class, and I must say the experience with Kenji was the most enjoyable memory from our trip. The day started off by taking us to the fish market where he taught us what cut and what type of fish is best for sushi making he then took us to a local shrine and explained us Japanese culture and history, and how it plays a part in everything we do in our day-to-day lives. We then went to his kitchen where he taught us how to prep our kitchen and how to make our rice and how to cut our fish for sushi and sashimi. He’s a natural born teacher because he had patience, when it came to teaching us how to properly handle the rice and how to prep the sushi and taught us how the flavor profiles work on each other. He is a business owner, who clearly enjoys what he loves because even though we went over in time, he still shared his home and his kitchen with us to have us try his special recipes and different fish that we’ve never tried before. He gave us the best souvenir one can have which is an unforgettable...

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Tokyo and took a two day tour with Kenji along with a sushi-making class that exceeded all my expectations. Kenji led us through both popular landmarks and hidden gems and providing fascinating insights. His friendly and engaging personality made the experience even more enjoyable.

A highlight of our trip was the sushi-making class. We went to the famous Tsukiji Market to pick out all the amazing ingredients with tastes of japenese beef along the way. The class was hands-on and taught by a Kenji and friend who was both patient and enthusiastic. The best part was tasting our creations at the end, which were absolutely delicious!

Overall, this tour and sushi class offered an authentic and immersive experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo. Whether you're a history buff, a foodie, or simply looking for a unique adventure, this combination...

AMAZING experience! My girlfriend and I loved our sushi-making experience with Kenji. It was truly one-of-a-kind that we HIGHLY recommend--so good that we decided to visit Japan a 2nd time and connected with Kenji to do additional tours around Tokyo. Kenji was fun, outgoing, professional, helpful, and easy to talk to. We visited the fish market, hand picked our ingredients while trying delicious vendor foods along the way. The sushi-making itself was truly eye-opening and, of course, delicious! When we returned to the United States we begin to watch other sushi chefs make their sushi and could more readily recognize good techniques. We did our sushi making and tours in 2023. We still talk about our time in Japan almost daily and intend to...
