The Nest Hotel Tokyo Yaesu is a modern, yet small hotel, that is more suited for solo travelers.||-Transportation from the airport: I took a taxi from Haneda Airport to the hotel, and the fare was approximately $56. It's probably double that amount from Narita airport because it's further. My friends took the train from Narita to Nihonbashi Station and walked to the hotel.||-Location: It's located near Nihombashi Station and Kayabach Station. A 7-Eleven is a short walk across the street. There are no attractions nearby, only businesses and a few restaurants. Most of the restaurants nearby fill up quickly when people from the surrounding companies leave work. ||-Amenities: The lobby features a microwave, toaster oven, coffee and hot water machine, two washer/dryer combo units, ice machine, and complimentary toiletries.||-Receptionists: The receptionists were friendly and helpful. They all knew enough English to check you in and explain the room details. Some spoke better English than others. ||-Room: My room included a single bed, a refrigerator (no freezer), a hot water kettle, a small desk and stool, and a bathroom with a deep bathtub. The rooms and bathrooms are tiny. I would only recommend staying here if you're a solo traveler. The hotel is next to a highway, so you can hear cars drive by occasionally. It wasn't loud enough to keep you up all night. The blackout shades worked to keep the sun out.||-Elevator: There is only one elevator serving 11 floors. If the hotel is busy, you'll have to wait a bit for the elevator.||-Other: They can only call one taxi at a time. I would use the Uber or GO app to call a taxi yourself. Uber lets you call a van for five people. If you have more than five people, you'll need another person in your group to call a second Uber.||They also offer luggage transfer with Yamato transport, and you can send your luggage to the Nest hotel. The receptionists can help you fill out the luggage...
Read moreI was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the check-in experience set a negative tone. The staff member assisting us was unfriendly, with a rude and passive-aggressive attitude that made the process uncomfortable.
The room itself was nothing remarkable, for the same size, I’ve stayed in much better rooms at other hotels. What was most surprising, however, was the charge for storing luggage and packages. This was the only hotel during our trip that required payment for something every other hotel offered free of charge, both before and after our stay, and at a crucial time foot us to leave to the airport there they decided to have the elevator be in use by the staff for a prolonged period of time delaying our airport journey, they don’t have a service elevator to service the hotel.
Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel. There are many better options available that provide friendlier service and more...

#Service# On the very first day, within just half an hour of check-in, I discovered a large and very noticeable orange stain on the bedsheet, bigger than a face. When I reported it to the front desk, the staff showed no apology or offer of compensation. In fact, a female staff member nearby even told us this was “normal” and didn’t need to be replaced. Only after insisting did they finally change the sheet. #Cleanliness# During my stay, there were two days when housekeeping was not done at all. On one occasion, I forgot to hang the “clean my room” sign, but I informed the front desk in advance and requested cleaning—yet the room was left untouched. On another day, I placed the sign on the door and even reminded the cleaning staff in person, but again, the room was not cleaned. On the second day, when we tried to ask the front desk about the Wi-Fi password and the cleaning issue, the staff were chatting and laughing with a group of European guests, and even gestured at us to go away. It made us wonder—was this discriminatory behavior? 🤔 #Facilities# The hotel is relatively new, and the facilities are modern. #Location# The hotel is located near a highway entrance. Unfortunately, at night and in the early morning, ambulance sirens and loud engine noises can often be heard.
