Very helpful and courteous staffs. Superb location tucked away from main road leads to Mekong river night market and Chinatown. Clean and luxury boutique hotel with spacious room. Well stocked amenities, comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was good with both local and western styles. Free airport transfers both ways were awesome! Highly recommended while in Vientiane. Tips: Ask for a high floor balcony room if possible. The restaurant Musaik on the right side of hotel is very good and quiet, serves very good local and western food! Popular among locals and Thais. Next to all restaurants and convenient stores! And the Champa massage nearby opens till 10.30pm is clean and good too.

Nice size room with balcony right next to a building site where they are pilling. I understand this will be eventually a cinema complex. Great view of construction ground work. Beds are soft, bathroom spacious and powerful shower within the bath. Hot water comes and goes. Breakfast was good for a British person. Internet comes and goes via their wireless system. Not sure if it is me but very few people smile or look happy in Laos including the Monks, have not seen one person smiling as yet. Could be down to high pollution with heavy traffic, broken pavements, cars & scooters parked absolutely anywhere and general chaos of every thing.

I enjoyed my 2 days stay. The room is big and clean. I like the parquet flooring which gives the uniqueness to the room. The staff are friendly and attentive. It is walking distance to the night market and some of the ancient Wat. Along the streets there are restuarants serving diffference cuisines. There are couple of convenience shops opposite if the hotel. The hotel is also offering free airport transfer which is very good especially for me as first time to Vientiane. Unfortunately my stay is short but will definitely come back again. 👍

After 3 weeks of budget hotels we spent 2 well deserved nights at the Dhavara Hotel. It was exactly what the doctor ordered (seriously I was very sick & just came from the doctors). The staff at check in were fabulous a little bit of a language barrier but we all got by. ||||The buildings architecture is a stunning French Colonial. It has an old French colonial feeling to the furniture and decor through out the whole hotel. There is even a cute boutique store off the lobby. I just loved it here! It did cost us about $100CAD a night (this was Dec 28th-29th). So this might have been holiday season pricing. There was also cheaper rooms. So it is a bit pricey but still much cheaper than getting a hotel like this back home. ||||We had a premier room. It was huge!!! Big comfy king size bed with amazing bedding and 4 pillows. There was so much room I didn’t no what to do with all the space. The bathroom had a huge bathtub, shower and did not have to fight to get hot water. Tv had English movies. Then seem to have everything; Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, blow dryer in each room, in-room safes, robes, well stocked mini fridge & snacks and so much more. Did I mention the old style feel but with all new stuff. There was no issues with the free wi-fi it worked awesome everywhere. ||||Everyone at the hotel was amazing. So helpful and friendly. English was differently not even their second language. Google translator helped huge. Especially after they ask us to change it from Khmer to Thai. ||||The hotel is showing a little wear in some of the paint but that’s seriously the only concern and problem with this place. ||||The Restaurant was really good as well. We ate 2 dinner and 1 breakfast here. They took my food allergy very serious. Even the Chef would come out to follow up with the allergy. Dinner the first night was very quiet. They had a large menu (please see pictures). Prices ranged from 24,000KIP ($3.60CAD)- 180,000KIP ($27CAD). Which the 180,000KIP was for a fancy steak dinner. The menu is a big local, Thai and western. Dessert was excellent as well. Their home-made ice cream was incredible.||Dinner the second night was very busy that we asked to site on the patio. It was the perfect night to sit out there and best of all no bugs! Breakfast was very good. I only ate to crepes nothing fancy but they were delicious. Im not really a...

This hotel is well located for restaurants and bars .There are some local tourist sites within walking distance and plenty of tuk-tuk to take to you to others. If you plan to go to Buddha Park I would suggest you take a car as it is a 30/40 minute ride but well worth going.||The hotel reception is gracefully presented and the staff are pleasant and helpful. There is no swimming pool at this hotel.|The dining room for breakfast is again tastefully presented. The breakfast menu is limited but nevertheless more than adequate. The cappuccino is particularly good.||The bedroom is large and had some charm with a large balcony which has a tile floor and could do with up dating. The bedroom does have all the requirements and the bed is comfy, however, again it does need updating. The bathroom is large with an in-bath shower which to be honest is not the best, the shower itself needs replacing - it does work but temperature is difficult to control. Climbing in and out of the bath which has no non slip mat is potentially a hazard and it is evident that others had held onto the towel rail for support, which was coming away from the wall.||Superficially the hotel is clean but the standard of cleaning did not do the hotel proud . There is a nicely furnished lounge on the first floor. There are also large hallways which are sparsely furnished and to furnish those areas would enhance the general feel...
