POSH Backpackers — Hotel in Riga

The hostel is not the cleanest one in the Baltic countries as they claim on their website, quite the opposite. There were piles of cigarette ash which no one bothered to clean. You could hardly see through windows and the table in the room was pretty sticky. On the other hand, it's very cheap. The shared room was for 6 lats. The shower was moldy, the toilet seat broken, doorhandles caked with dirt. Nobody had cleaned the room in months, judging by the state. Didn't take my shoes off. I do not think the rest of the residents were tourists but middle aged and older men.

Receptionist was pleasant and the sheets I had to put on myself were clean. Mattress was dirty but I couldn't find bugs. Stay away if you can, the price is...

Не самый комфортный хостел, но достаточно удобное месторасположение. С персоналом почти не пересекалась, а вот с другими жильцами постоянно, причём обычно они были пьяными и буйными, в одну из ночей устроили драку и ломились в женский номер, вообщем повезло, что мы закрылись. Но это ведь вопрос к людям, а не к хостелу. Правда? В номере было более-менее чисто, в ванной комнате уже похуже, в коридоре неприятный запах. Кухня ужасная, даже не метр на метр и тоже отвратительный запах, но чай быстренько заварить можно. Кровать в номере удобная, постельное белье чистое. Если нужна койка в пешей доступности к центру - этот хостел подойдёт, но проводить в нём больше времени чем ночёвка я бы не...
