I am very glad that I came to this hotel and I am very happy because I spent 2 days at this hotel; great staff; excellent cuisine; excellent reception here that will do everything to make the customer happy; I do not just recommend that I insist that all tourists who visit Riga visited this hotel it is located in the very center of course there are minor problems so that the car could arrive directly kotermak since there is a government building nearby But in any case it doesn’t interfere with the feeling to be comfortable and very safe at the hotel, everything is practically thought out so that the client feels safe and comfortable and does not need anything in the room has everything you need, up to the point that you can put yourself in order for hands for decoys for the face in general there is everything What is necessary for you to feel like a king here all the money that you spent all this compared to the money that I had to spend in London It's inexpensive and I would even say what they offer here in Latvian hotels and hotel x namely in this hotel they cost much more because in London I often pay for the air because in fact you don’t get the quality that offers in London does not match the qualities that can be obtained in Latvia, namely in Riga This hotel does not deserve Five She deserves 10 stars because what these guys do is really nice, really nice and very sweet. Not every hotel can give you free grapefruit juice at breakfast. in early December I plan to come to Riga again and I’m sure that I will visit this hotel again I was really pleased to see people who speak different languages who, no matter what days of problems, are always ready to meet and help regardless what a problem the guys speak many languages it is very great Comfort as in England in large hotels people know a maximum of two languages here they know 3/4 Therefore, I think that it is worthy of high praise therefore good luck and I hope that your hotel will soon o will become more popular because wherever I go, I always leave those comments of Aria exactly those impressions that I really received, so many thanks to the staff many thanks to the employees who did everything to make me feel comfortable and also safe. Thank you. And I hope that you will succeed.
Liels paldies jums!!

Read moreWe stayed recently at the Pullman Riga Old Town “five star” hotel. I must say we were quite disappointed as the hotel didn't meet up at all with our expectations or Pullman's own advertisements.
The series of disappointments started before we even set foot on the hotel premises. The hotel does not have it's own parking for guests and you cannot park anywhere in front of the hotel (because there is a police officer on the street (yes at all hours) monitoring that no one drives there). The nearest parking is not so close and very expensive.
When we arrived and during our whole stay the staff in the main hall was rude, and seemed like they didn't want to work there or you to be there. Although one day there was a staff member (young man) who greeted everyone who entered the hotel and seemed genuinely nice. The nicest people from the hotel's staff were the cleaners who at least greeted and smiled.
Now the room: first thing we saw when we entered the room was a very scratched and worn out table that looked like it was brought from a recycling center. Toilet is in it's own room, without anything else (except toilet paper, no trash, no sink, no bidet). The hand basin is next to bed. If you are on your period, you are in trouble – especially with a moon cup. Have fun pretending you are bleeding in kind of camp conditions. The shower is separate and has just a plastic door between the bedroom and a lot of the water leaks into the room while taking a shower.
We left our keycard in it's holder for a day to keep the air conditioner running, and when we came back we found the card removed from the holder, so the electricity was cut from the room. Good luck if you have medicine that needs to be stored in a fridge. Which brings me to the fridge: what a joke. You could literally fit in there four (4) half liter beers and that was it. Not to mention that it reeked of a cheap and low quality product.
The light-switches in the room are a joke and I think someone had a good laugh installing them. You have to go around the room to figure out which switch works with which light, for example the switch near the door turned on the light next to bed, or the switch next to bed turned on the light in the shower. And of course there was a master switch, which if you hit, none of the other lights worked.
Terrace on the 6th floor was a pleasant place to spend time. It was supposed to be open until 9 pm, but was closed and unstaffed since 7 pm, even on a beautiful and warm evening. The spa is another joke. There actually is no spa and it should not be advertised as one. It is only a useless swimming pool, that is so narrow that it is impossible to swim in it, and useless if there is more than one person using it. The sauna is ok. Although you cannot throw water in the stove which makes the air in there very dry. In the whole “spa” there is only one shower for men and one for women. On the positive side there are plenty of extra towels and slippers.
All in all this was a rather disheartened experience when considering this was supposed to be a 5-star hotel. How on earth does this hotel deserve five stars? Most details were screaming the fact that the hotel seems to be ran with lazy attitude. Most of the staff doesn't seem to have the mentality that they are working in a 5-star place, more like in a backpacker hostel. After reading the reviews and hotel's responses, it seems like after every complaint there is an automated response that promises to fix the situation. Based on our one week stay there we can still see the same problems, that were promised to be fixed more than a year ago. We cannot recommend this...
Read moreI stayed here at Pullman Riga for 3 nights, if it was a 3 star hotel I’d happily give it a 10/10 rating but when you advertise it as a 5 star hotel this just doesn’t meet the expectations.
Before the trip i double checked with the hotel if there is toothpaste included in the room, they confirmed there is in all rooms. There was not… So we had to walk to a shop a kilometer away just past bed time. I also immidiately realized there was a lot of dust on the surfaces in the room, dirty curtains and a weird layout where the sink is not in the toilet.
First morning when we were going to make some coffee the coffee machine started leaking boiling water out on the table and floor, not to mention it didn’t even make the coffee. I reported this to the hotel and they said they’d fix it, three days later it’s still not fixed, maybe it’s a way to get you to book the 25€ / person breakfast to get your coffee but nevertheless not up to standards.
The shower also leaks water out into the hotel room itself and no squeegee is included so you have to use your towel to dry the floor, 45 minutes after every shower water starts flooding from the shower head (happened to us every time, every day) There was some questionable plumbing done so probably the reason why.
Also super inconvenient if you’re moving by car or taxi since only a select few cars with special permission are allowed on the street outside (understandable as it’s besides the presidential palace but good to know) That being said, you’ll do just fine walking on foot through the city as the hotel is locate right in the middle of the old town.
The staff was nice and room otherwise looked fresh.
The ”spa” I can’t really complain about as it’s included in the room price but there is a narrow swimming pool for one person and a sauna, no hot tub or bubble pool. There is a gym with all the necessities, which is nice.
Overall a good experience but nowhere near the standards of a 5 star hotel, maybe we were just unlucky but other reviews seem to share the...
