Kafejnīca, bārs Ezītis miglā — Restaurant in Riga

The food was really good, however after waiting for only a burger for over 30 minutes, we came to the bar to ask about it. The bartender told us it was given away but she doesnt know to who or why it wasnt to us. As we were waiting a long time we ordered more alcohol and food in addition to the burger, but I asked for a discount because of the burger incident (she agreed). After receiving the receipt I noticed we did not get any discount, the bartender shrugged and said she forgot. My friend asked for shots as compensation for this double fiasco and the bartender offered one free shot for the three of us. We said it's not enough, she said she cannot just give out free alcohol... as a last resort I asked her to make my drink stronger, she said she cannot as the whisky is too expensive and we should just "take the one shot". Unfortunately, despite the tasty food this whole situation ruined...

We started by sitting outside but then it started to rain so we had to move inside. When we got inside there was only 1 table for four which had very bad space because it was only 1 table meanwhile 2 people were sitting with 2 tables put together. I could barely hear what people said because the music was overwhelmingly loud. We ordered our food and then waited for extremely long, i didnt take time but i already wanted to leave when the food arrived. Then when the food finally arrived they had gotten our order wrong so we had to wait for eternities agian. When the food got there my burger had some of the smallest patties i have seen and tasted extremely boring, fries were good tho. I will give them that leaving was one of the best experiences ive had. Anyway i do not recommend and im definitely never going...

For a student beloved place with kinda simple and easy to understand food options and a big selection of average alcoholic beverages, this place is okay. Would not choose it as a restaurant for a date for sure, but if you have to hang out with people and not to go bankrupt, then may be this place is a match. Can't say I am a fan of anything here, but most of my colleagues are. Cocktails starting from 4 euros and the price going up if you don't feel like the cheapest vodka in town this evening, but want to prove yourself you are worth something. What I love are the best ever fried potato balls with garlic sauce, they are awesome and the price is 2.50€ so sometimes it is...
