They were what we in Denmark are used to referring to as "rösti", which is a favorite of mine. They were really well made and I very much enjoyed them. We had stroganoff as the main course and that way had room for ordering two different desserts. Honey cake and golden blinis. Everything was very made! Skilled chefs and a nice presentation. Read moreUncle Vanya is like walking into a warm embrace — equal parts rustic charm and Slavic soul. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Riga, it feels like you’ve stumbled into a time-worn dacha where every dish tells a story and every corner hums with nostalgia.
The food is rich, hearty, and unapologetically comforting. The pelmeni are soft little pockets of joy, and the beef stroganoff melts like butter. Pair it with one of their house-infused vodkas (the horseradish one packs a cheeky punch), and you’re in for an evening that lingers well past the final bite.
The staff are attentive without being overbearing — warm, funny, and happy to guide you through the menu like an old friend. From the antique decor to the deep flavors, this place is a whole mood. A hidden gem that feels like a love letter to old-world hospitality. Will...

In return i got many coins in total amount 4€ but many many 20-10-50 cents. It was 1€ missing and also tons of coins instead of one paper. It was a miscalculation and also a bad attitude. I go and told the situation to waiter he didnt understand in the first and i had to tell him more slower for twice. And then he got angry and gave me 1€ that he should have given earlier with aggresively mumbering in front of other tables. It was a...
