Kapit Hotel — Hotel in Borneo

Very strategic location. Near the waterfront.

The problem is that the room is so dirty. There were small cockroaches when stayed there, we just worried that it may enter our ear when we sleep.

The bathroom was also smelly, we tried to close it but the door has some problem, it slides back.

The WiFi also has some problem, it could not reach our room, so I had to use mobile hotspot to connect to the Tv in order to watch YouTube.

When I open the pillow mattress, the pillow is yellow. I think they need to change the pillow.

Also, when we entered the room, there were no towels, only mineral water, water glasses. So, we had to request for towels at the counter, and they said that their towels were not dry. The staff is pretty friendly, always smiling at us.

We just hope that the Kapit can improve in the future. Wish this hotel a luck. Thanks for the stay, this is just a honest review from what we had...

This is Budget hotel. I went to kuching with 5 member, and this is the only hotel i managed to book, which provide a room for 5 member. The price for 2 night, i think doesn't worth the services. I am happy that the room got 2 bathroom, and comfortable bed for all of us . But the only thing that i am not satisfied is, the aircond is so old fashion, It take times to cold. Plus, its leak! Tv is so outdated with only one channel. Our room is at 3rd floor. No lift. Design of the hotel is so old.. Got water fountain , iron and shared icebox at 2nd floor. Ground floor is smelly, staff is so-so.. Anyway, i am grateful that we have a place to stay. This hotel is strategic.. Near to waterfront, and restaurants downstairs. I hope this hotel management can be improved for others...

Bad place to stay although the place is strategic....old air conditioning that I don’t know when they last service and the place is not clean at all.They have poor room service.I stayed there for 4 days and they never clean our room at all.Their room is in bad condition and you can feel the spring of you sleep on the bed and when you ask them to repair the air conditioner,they will just lie to us that they already service but they don’t....so please don’t book or stay in this hotel...the...
