RAINFOREST Budget Stay — Hotel in Borneo

Here's my opinion, the location is strategies, in the middle of the town. Easy to walk to waterfront, Cat Statue, and many culinary at Padungan Street, affordable, the room has the toilet inside and the water heater is worked but they didn't provide the toiletries kit such as toilet tissue, toothpaste or toothbrush. They also give 1 hanger for hanging the clothes. They give a key access to in and out entrance door, also the staff is so helpful. And the minus is the room smell smokey, noisy because the wall per room is only wood board so we can hear the steps and the cough from neighbors, TV didn't work, no special decoration inside the room, the hallway is kinda creepy. And I don't see where I can refill the water drinking so I...

Spartan type of stay in a quite central location in Padungan near all the good eateries. Noone was around in the evening but there was a handphone number to call for quick response. Room unconventional and hostel like with plywood walls but air con was cold and attached bathroom clean with hot water. Muffled sounds can be heard from the neighbouring pub till late but it was not too loud to disturb my sleep. Not a stay for anybody accustomed to luxury but clean enough, safe enough and functional enough for the price. No TV or...
