Oriental Inn — Hotel in Borneo

We stay here for 4D3N in a triple room.

Receptionist really nice and friendly. 24 hours reception with CCTV. Got two bottle of mineral water, one towel only and soap, make up table with two chair. Got hot shower. Toilet a bit old. No hairdryer. No hanger inside the cupboard. Room have old type TV. Iron can request from reception(I'm not sure if it is free or with surcharge). Got refrigerator outside our room (in the hallway). There are living room with the old type TV too :D

Location is 20 minutes walking distance from waterfront. Got restaurant in front of the hotel, 3 minutes walking distance. Mom's Laksa Petanak,...

Very very very noisy from very early hours - there are machine workshops on the ground floor, zero noise insulation. I booked Standart Queens room, and it was absolutely different from what you can see on pictures at Booking.com. Room was dirty, smelly, no windows in the room, just at the toilet and near the sink. Dust, dirt, mould everywhere :( I'm sure, the pics they're using on booking sites, are fake. They are made not in their hotel. It is a one star hotel and therefore the quality of the furnishings are generally basic. The rooms come with a kettle and 2 glasses but there is no fridge or microwave in the room (Asian style). But the service is friendly and basic...
