GURNEY INN — Hotel in George Town

I have very bad experience staying in this place and I need to highlight. Parking Management by this hotel is very poor. I have been called 2 times in the morning asked for change the car parking car twice while I was sleeping. The Aircond use one power host for the entire building and it was so slow and making some mechanical error sound for the entire night. The toilet when we enter the room was not been clean and was so messy. I have requested a staff to clean but end of the day. THE STAFF ASK US TO CLEAN !! There is sign showing NO SMOKING in entire building but the other people stays in the hotel, smoking inside the corridor and open the windows and the Staff didn't even question about it. There is no lift so if elderly people want to stay is not advisable. I have asked for extra fan due to aircond was slow which is also they didn't provide. The hotel cleanliness was so poorly managed. this hotel were not up to expectation although it a budget hotel with a price of RM89 per night. they offered a room with a window with an extra of RM10 but there are not really a window. the windows were completely blocked by concrete building beside the hotel which situated within 5 inch from the windows. the room and bathroom were so small. shower in the bathroom were broken and not working properly. there are no proper parking available for the hotel. they asked me to park behind another car. the next day i receive a call from hotel at 7.30am to remove my car as the other owner need to take his car out. the hotel wifi were not working at all. only good about this hotel is its strategic location. it located near to gurney hawker street and malls within...

Two words bed bugs and all you can say i am sorry and a room change?. I accept some place are more not expensive and more accommodating to low class traveller such as me but please treat cleanliness as a default because we only request a place of shelter for a night but if you've gone through the hell of bitten everywhere then no point of paying for a good place to sleep. I got the bleeding video if you want it but as much i love a small inn rather than big hotel, this place is rubbish.
