From the moment you step into this 火锅 hotpot restaurant, the rich aroma of simmering broths sets your expectations soaring - and they're all magnificently met! What truly stole the show was their signature butter mala pot - an ingenious fusion that combines the numbing spiciness of mala with rich, creamy butter notes. The butter adds a luxurious smoothness that perfectly balances the intense Sichuan peppercorn kick, creating a uniquely addictive broth that's both comforting and exciting.
The restaurant offers both buffet and à la carte options, and let me tell you - opting for the buffet was one of the best dining decisions I've made. The butter mala broth transforms everything you cook in it, coating each ingredient with a silky, spicy embrace that keeps you coming back for more.
The buffet spread is incredibly extensive, featuring premium ingredients that you'd typically expect to pay a premium for à la carte. From beautifully marbled beef slices that become even more decadent in the butter mala broth to fresh seafood that soaks up all those complex flavors, everything is consistently replenished and maintained at peak freshness. The value for money is exceptional, especially for hearty eaters who want to sample a wide variety of ingredients.
Special mention goes to our waiter,进洛, whose attentiveness made our dining experience exceptional. His timing was impeccable - he helped clear plates promptly and ensured our broth was consistently maintained at the ideal temperature.
The homemade dipping sauces at the sauce station add another layer of flavor complexity, though honestly, with the butter mala broth being so flavorful, you might find yourself using less sauce than usual!
The restaurant's ambiance strikes the right balance between lively and comfortable, making it perfect for both casual gatherings and special occasions. Despite being a buffet, the service and food quality never wavered.
Verdict: A must-visit for hotpot enthusiasts, especially if you're going for the buffet option - it's absolutely worth every penny. The butter mala pot is a game-changer that you won't find everywhere. Thanks to outstanding service from staff like 进洛, Pei Ying, this place truly delivers on the promise of an authentic 火锅 experience. Your hunger for quality hotpot will definitely be...
Read moreEnvironment: the decoration of the restaurant is modern, the layout is reasonable, the seats are comfortable and the overall environment is clean and tidy. Service: the service is slightly insufficient, and the attitude of the waiter needs to be improved. Although the response speed is OK, but lack of initiative and enthusiasm, hope to improve in the future. Food: Kinds of seafood: seafood is rich in variety and high freshness, including all kinds of shellfish, shrimp, crab, fish fillet, etc., to meet the needs of different tastes. The freshness of the ingredients is a very important part of the hot pot buffet experience, and the restaurant has done a good job in this respect. Hot pot bottom: spicy pot bottom taste rich, spicy but not dry, hemp but not bitter, very suitable for diners who like heavy taste. The spices at the bottom of the pot are matched properly, which can set off the delicacy of seafood. Other dishes: in addition to seafood, there are a variety of meat, vegetables and bean products to choose from to meet the taste needs of different customers. Price: the price is reasonable, considering the quality and type of ingredients, the performance price is relatively high. Conclusion: this seafood buffet hot pot restaurant performs well in the choice of ingredients and the bottom of the hot pot, especially the freshness and variety of seafood are impressive. The bottom of spicy pot is also made with special features, which can satisfy diners who like spicy food. However, there is still room for improvement in service. I hope the restaurant can attach importance to it and improve it. Generally speaking, it is a recommended seafood buffet hotpot restaurant. I gotta give a special shout - out to Jin Luo. I've been coming here for three years, and he's always been the one serving me. His service is...
Read moreFound a hair dye in yellowish colour (none of us dye our hair, by the way) in the tomato soup after we put in all our ingredients.
We immediately tell the waiter about this issue. What they did is drain our meat and tell us they "sterilised" it with hot water and serve it back to us. Is this supposed to be the way to handle food cleanliness issues? What cost you to serve a new set. We ordered marinated meat, and you "sterilised" them with water, so technically, we are just getting water boiled meat. What's the point of having marinated meat then?
Also, they say they replaced the soup base. Again, the other soup in the same bowl is untouched. I do not know how to drain the contaminated soup cleanly (or do they?).
If the same thing happen at other hotpot shop with basic common sense, they will replace a whole new set of ingredient and soup, and not STERILISED WITH WATER! If we follow their logic, the soup is also boiling and it should be already sterilised the meat, why bother doing repeated steps on sterilise using water? Completely illogical! How much does it cost you to replace the whole set?!
Worst, before I left, the cashier asked me if everything is fine. I told them it is not, and I will write it in Google Map review. What they did is, they tried to bribe me with a voucher, telling me not to expose them with the voucher given. I immediately gave back their voucher and tell them I will not come back again, so you can keep...
