BEWARE! Don't be cheated by the price! Room is EXTREMELY DIRTY. Stains are EVERYWHERE. EXTREMELY HORRIBLE
Reasons : Housekeeping is horrible. Booked a family suite for 3d2n with 2 queen beds. There were stains on all 8 pillow cases, called the receptionist for housekeeping and apparently the OPERATING HOURS for HOUSEKEEPING is 9am - 6pm. like ????? isn't hotel housekeeping be 24/7?
Since there was no housekeeping, we went down to the reception and guess what, they had NO CLEAN pillow cases.
Staff literally laughed and giggled and then passed us mattress cover
Ignorant and Unfriendly Staffs Room soon had no toilet paper. Went to the reception at 10am for housekeeping to give us a toilet paper but after we reached back the hotel at 9pm, toilet paper was NOWHERE to be found.
Went down to the reception again and (i) there was no housekeeping (ii) reception did not keep extra toilet paper near their counter incase guest needs it (iii) receptionist had to go to housekeeping storage room to take toilet paper (storage room was opposite the hotel building) (iv) key to the housekeeping storage room was spoiled LOL in conclusion, we did not get our toilet paper.
The next day there were still 2 issues: (i) no toilet paper (ii) toilet was clogged
At 9am, we went to the reception to ask for housekeeping AGAIN. Reception was very impatient, blamed us for clogging the toilet and telling us we SHOULD NOT use tissue cos the toilet pipe is very small.
[ like ???? YOUR toilet pipe small, so does that mean that i've lost my basic right and freedom to use toilet paper to do my business? Ok fine, if you wanted us to throw the toilet paper into the bin, then you should at least do up a sign stating "Please do not flush toilet paper down." ISIT THAT DIFFICULT? ]
Receptionist told us to head back up to the room and he will send the housekeeper up with our toilet paper to unclog our toilet. Waited for 15min in the room and no one showed up. Called the receptionist to check and this was what he said, "why you keep calling me to ask for toilet paper? I'm not the housekeeping? Call the housekeeping."
[ like bruh, if i had the housekeeping number, i will surely call them. but do i have their number? NO! the only number we have is the reception! Don't call you call who? ]
Soon after, a housekeeper came up with a TOILET BRUSH. yes a brush, not a plunger. Had no idea what he was doing but toilet water was all over the floor and we had to clean it up OURSELVES.
Just as we thought the toilet was fixed, the toilet soon clogged up again (note: we did not throw any toilet paper in) and we had to (i) wait for 15min for the water level to decrease (ii) flush multiple times (3 times min) before the next person can use the toilet and the whole cycle repeats.
Room design is horrendous (i) Shower drainage hole was at the back This caused the dry area of the toilet to have puddles of water after showering.
(ii) Wall in between beds and tv Speechless. Have no idea why a designer will design it this way. Can't even see the TV from our bed. If you are gonna stay in the room and want some entertainment from the TV, then please say NO to this hotel

Read morelocation was not convenient. At night, road are quiet and dimmed. KSL is 5 mins drive, cost less than RM6 to get there by Grab. ||- booked junior room. Room was spacious with 2 Queen size beds for 4 adults, dining area with 4 chairs, Sofa (bed) and 2 side sofa chair. ||- We requested for extra towel, was told to pay RM20 per towel. We asked for extra floor mat as the bathroom was flooded if we shower, reception insisted one floor mat per room. We intend to have one inside bathroom, one mat outside bathroom to avoid slippery.||- Gave us one small (30ml?) bottle of Body shampoo, hair shampoo and hair conditioner. Have to explain and beg for extra coz we have 4 adults. ||- poor design of bathroom, when showered, water flows into the washing basin floor area which caused flood. ||- We booked for 2 nights then decided to extend one more day during our booking. On the 1st day of check in, informed the reception, but was told to come back on the 2nd nights to check in for 3rd night.||- when check in, toilet roll was left with 20% (actual toilet roll was small roll), asked for additional, they insisted housekeeping will replenish the next day when doing house cleaning. But after negotiation, they gave us one roll at night. ||- 2nd day, we came back in the late evening after shopping, housekeeping didn’t replenish the toilet roll when we left with 30% in the morning. Fine. Next day at 9am, called reception, but was reminded I have to come down to make payment before 12pm for 3rd night stay. At 10.30am, toilet roll was not deliver. Called to ask again. This time, reception asked me to come down make payment, which I ask if I do not come down to make payment, they aren’t going to sent me toilet roll? They finally send up at 11.30am. Read moreWas really worried when I heard that Glex hotel had inconsistent reviews so I had to check it out for myself. Do take note they take deposit of 100RM upfront due to the non smoking policy.
The room was surprisingly spacious and I really liked it. They also provided toiletries and standard hotel refreshments. Internet connection was speedy and the air conditioning was cool too, need some time for the air to turn cold. The bed was between soft and hard, so it was generally comfortable.
The decor is quite tasteful and the lighting was ok. Of course facing us was the carpark. Not an issue. Yes there are signs of wear and tear found around the room, like the wall paper and the bathroom blinds. Cleanliness wise there were occasional clumps of hair found. The towels were slightly aged and not thick, they're ok. Had to collect toilet paper from reception if needed. They had ample of hangers and a hair dryer is provided.
Funny thing though, the fire alarm went off at 5am in the morning... False alarm... not sure if its a recurring issue. It was pretty quiet room to room, so we had no issues sleeping.
You can find the common iron at every lift lobby. Useful.
Location wise there were mini marts and eateries right behind the hotel (10m). But we're not so sure about the reliability of these eateries. It's about 5RM to grab to KSL so the location is not bad, lots of food options.
Overall I feel it's an above average for the price paid since it's a 3 star hotel. A really, no...
