I Have been infested with BED BUIGS since July 2024, change bed frame and mattress first time, and another time mattress only and until now the bugs still infested my room. Please find solution for this matter immediately maybe like sending the real pest control (not the hotel cleaner ) The air-cond in my room always need to repair, I think people already come and fix it like more than 3 times. The hotel manager (Alvin) is being not so friendly , rude sometimes when we try to file a complaint. The way he talks back to us seem like nothing means there is no problem to him but when it come charging us more/of fix my smart meter, he does not need to be reminded..and then one day, i asked to change my bed again, he left the OLD bed frame with bed bugs inside my room (not properly change everything), He keep saying he already change it. He is not a responsible Hotel Manager, please change to a better person and take all the responsibilities seriously, maybe he thinks we are very short minded and cannot do anything to make he go away. There is NO HOT WATER at this hotel since October last year. We pay in full , and this is what we get? When they cut off the water supply, the time of the water goes to normal is taking soo long to recover, means the water only last long for few hours only, and when at night when all the tenants were home, there will be completely no water at all. I think i heard something wrong with the pump. Can you upgrade your piping or maybe at least fix the tank and pump? During my first year, there was still a semblance of professionalism, with a person in charge available to address concerns promptly. However, the situation took a drastic turn for the worse in the second year.
Issues with bed bugs and mice infestations became rampant, turning my once-comfortable living space into a nightmare. Despite repeated complaints, there was no improvement, and the management seemed indifferent to the deteriorating conditions.
Adding insult to injury, the lack of reception or any responsible personnel made it nearly impossible to seek assistance or escalate grievances. It felt like I was left to fend for myself in a facility that was supposed to provide hospitality and support.
The final straw came when my deposit was inexplicably withheld for a month without any plausible explanation. It's baffling how M1 Hotel can threaten to disconnect utilities for late payments while failing to reimburse deposits in a timely manner.
My overall experience at M1 Hotel has been nothing short of a disaster. The decline in cleanliness, service, and accountability over the two years is deeply disappointing. Read moreI will be moving in here starting 27Nov2021. I tried 6 months contract first lets see how it goes. But so far the room is good and rent is affordable considering this is within city centre and monorel is just a stone throw distance.
UPDATE (as of 9Sep2022): I wanted to leave this review for the sake of prospective tenants.
This is a run down building with sanitation problems that comes along with its age and poor maintenance and management.
I decided to give M1 a try because I thought its a steal: city centre, very convenient transpo thru monorel and super cheap but I came to regret this decision. Yes, the low rent and location are appealing but make sure you are really willing to sacrifice basic human dignity by staying here (bedbugs, rats entering your unit, non-decent tenants who leave cigarrete puffs inside lifts).
I have raised these concerns to the admin, while my unit was somehow "fixed" because of my constant complaints, what about the other units? To add, I am certain the problems will continue to persist.
Good thing I only opted for a 6month contract instead of 1 year that my agent was pushing. I left this place as soon as my contract expired.
I am now staying to a more cozy condo, it's expensive but I can rest properly after a hard corporate day's work.
