So it was our first visit to Malaysia and the service was terrible. We received an offer of a pick-up from the airport to the hotel and I replied that we wanted to get the service but no response came. When.we arrived at the hotel, we were told that they were expecting us but no rooms were available. They were willing to put us on the standard room though it was the same price to the one we booked which was a suite. They mentioned that we got the suite on a huge discount online so they couldn't give us a discount for the standard room that they intend to let us stay at. When we got tired from the heavy discussion and agreed on a 10 ringgit discount, another guy came and said that we should pay for the full amount of the standard room...again. We were so tired getting around and from an almost 4 hour plane ride that I decided to just book another place. So we did. One more thing that got us aggravated was the fact that we thought we were getting a good deal but there so many charges on top of what was advertised. They said it was booking.com's fault and they have the right to add charges based on their 'policies'. ||We are definitely not recommending this place. We are happy at where we stayed at and got an even more huge discount apart from what booking.com offered. I'm glad we decided to stay away from this place. This one is a basic hotel. Definitely below average and that 2nd guy who came and took back what the other guy was trying to offer us cause us so much dismay. Stay away from here. I suggest you try Step Inn Guesthouse. They have amazing deals and everyone is just so friendly. They offer free breakfast too. Will definitely write a good review once we our tour in Malaysia...
Read moreThe room was very very very critically small & its also haunted as I heard someone screaming, laughing, something fall on the floor, & also I heard like someone was in the toilet playing with the door, knocking the door, till couldn’t even sleep. How could all of the noise come from another room? Bcs that time all room was almost empty, I stayed in the room 209. The paint on the wall was starched and need to be paint, it was horribly creepy. The bedsheet was too itchy till I couldn’t lay in the bed, and there was also too many bugs. The bed is not really a bed, bcs the mattress on the short platform. It wasn’t really a hotel room, it was more like a cage for pigs & the aircond wasn’t cold at all. I’m not satisfied enough & I feel like I just wasted my money for nothing, I really want a refund and I deserve to get my money back. Don’t get fooled by the pictures, it wasn’t like what you see in the pictures, its more like a haunted creepy hotel room. I even didn’t dare to take a risk for a shower, because the toilet, the room was too dirty & smelly, and also haunted till I couldn’t sleep, and also small very small till I couldn’t move. So if you want to book this hotel, pls think wisely, bcs I bet you my life, you’re gonna regret it. Obviously I will never coming back here. Never. I would rather sleep on the street. Luckily I checked out earlier in the morning. Couldn’t bear to take a risk to stay in the creepy...

The rooms are extremely small with the bed going from wall to wall .|On day 2 of my 3 day stay , I had to ask for a towel as I was using a bath mat which is all I had in my room , however the staff were very quick to give me 2 fresh towels .|The internet in the hotel is very poor , I work online and it was a major problem for me . My room 308 had little or no signal , so I had to spend many hours sat on the stairs , which was hot, uncomfortable and lacked any privacy . On one occasion, the hotel manager allowed me to use his room to work which was kind of him.|The location of the hotel is great , it's a very short walk to imbi monorail station, there are lots of places to eat and drink right on your doorstep. Also it's only a short walk to Bukit Bintang .|On 2 of the floors there are hot and cold drinking water dispensers which was nice to have.|All the hotel staff were friendly throughout my stay.|The hotel is currently renovating and spending money building a fitness centre. I think the money would be much better spent by painting the dirty walls in the rooms and fitting more internet routers...
