Without a doubt, the food was good (like homemade tiffin).

However, the service was average, and there were just a few tables available for dine-in.

Here are my suggestions:- Please post a sign stating that seating is only available after placing an order. Instead of setting the table with a number (unless if the ordered food will be served at the table), please provide the order token number on hand. Add more tables and chairs, if possible with umbrella.

Here's why I'm making these suggestions.

I was standing in line (queue was quite long), waiting for my turn to order. While I was waiting in line, the people at the back of the line began to reserve available tables by allowing their family/members to be seated. And the man at the order counter had to keep informing them that they could only be seated after ordering the food since they needed to sit and eat.

It's then my turn to place my order. The man at the counter asks where you want to sit and dine. I instantly turned around and chose and gave him the available table number, and he took note of our table number.

As I approached the table with my food in hand, another man in the back queue ordered soup from the nearby stall and placed it on the table that I had chosen(to reserve the table for his group). Then I had to return to the counter and advise the man at the counter that the table we had chosen had been taken by another individual.

He with immediate consideration allocated us a table (also another uncle was seated at the table to reserve the table for his family member). However, there was no umbrella on the table (it was sprinkling). As I began to eat, the drizzle became more intense. And the uncle at my table says, "Girl, go to the next table (with an umbrella) because it's drizzling, and how you can eat the rain drizzles falling in your food." Thus, we switched tables (with an umbrella).

As a courtesy, I went back to the man to advise him that the table number had changed (since there were two more orders to be served). He asked us loudly, "Why do you keep changing tables, and the table you're sitting at now has already been taken by another customer?" And you can't just change the number because your table number, along with your pending order, has already been transmitted to the kitchen. Then we had to go back to the table with no umbrella.

I hurried through my meal while waiting for my other order to be served. When my pending order was ready, they called for my table number (my very first table number). When I got to the counter to collect my order, the girl refused to serve my order since the table number on the order and the table where I was sitting were different. She gave my order to the man who took the order, and he kept calling our table number (the very first table that number that I chose). Then he questioned his helper, "Is this order for the people who kept changing the table?" (To be honest, we didn't want to but the situation made us so). That turned me off, and I was furious that he categorized us as such. And I had to explain on the table number again, grab the food, eat it quickly, and go because it was drizzling.

I know it's a long essay to read but it is good to share this experience so that you guys can change the system & serve better for upcoming...

Tried their food for all 3 meals of the day and yet the BEST and most Favourite session is Breakfast..

Look for SAROJINI AKKA, she is the BEST WAITER in the scene

Image 01 - Mysoore Masala Dhosai - Chef Vijay's Special menu - Very Tasty and something very unique. Crispy Dhosai topped with Idly podi made to brown up and served with potato and chutney in the middle. adding abit a ghee or nalla-yennai enhances the taste

Image 02 - Vadivel Oothappam - A thrifty meal, its called that way for the famous comedy where vadivel orders an oothapam to be made with in ways he instructs, item meets the description

Image 03 - Ghee Thosai, you can opt to have it crispy or less crispy but the ghee smell knocks you off as soon as it arrives.. very good, recommended for kids

Image 04 - Ponggal, by far the best breakfast i have had here in MT. Goes very well with the chutneys (because i am NOT a sambar person) 1 serving is enough to keep you full up to lunch.

Image 05 - Moru Moru Rawa Dhosai, If you dont like plain dhosai, then you should go for the rawa dhosai, it just gives you the crunch you need and filling as it can be

Image 06 - Crispy Vadai - Vadai Perfection, some of the finest vadais i have had in KL. Honestly...

Image 07 - Idly, soft, smooth, silky, therefore i call it SILK'U IDLY and if you say the same, they'll know you must be my Friend

Image 08 - Pasumpal Bru, the perfect Finisher

Will i ever come back, haha i have already beeen here like a DOZEN times,

Lunch and Dinner - Is ok, better than some restaurants nearby but its not as BOMBING as...

The food was excellent! They really have an authentic taste. Their mutton is well cooked so it's easy to bite. Really loved it! I'd really love to go there again. - maybe during non peak hours or once they fix the both A/C.

I'm very disappointed with a few things: The indoor seating was very hot as only ONE a/c was working - The waiters are messy - when we asked the waiter if we could seat outside instead he said ya there's tons of places outisde, however once we went out we had to hold our food n wait for 10-15mins while the other customers finish their food n leave n waited for the waiters again to clean the table they did not change our table number in the system and we ended up waiting almost 45mins for the rest of out food while customers that came later received their food faster. The waiters are so sweaty which we pitited them bcs their indoor is so hot and they hardly have time to wipe off their sweat. I dont understand how they were mixing up our orders, they end up giving us some other drinks (Now I'm guessing if our orders were given to other tables) The cashier, a young lady - when I gave the feedback that the food was late, she never bother to ask any follow up questions, instead she immediately explained tht they have different departments and that's why the food is late. When I said no other tables came later but received early, she immediately said oh cause you guys ordered late 💀. Lady did not wish to probe before judging. So i gave up, paid n walked off.

Really hope they look into this and fix...

Its very hard to get parking.. next waiting for table, people will be looking at u as u did some mistake..its supposed to be the responsibility of the staffs to get a place for people to sit i guess..i pitied on a guy during d time i was there,he thought there will b atleast a place for him to sit as he already walking here and there for a place to sit with a plate full of food on his hand which makes me feel terrible.. those who working there, saw him but none helped him until d owner saw n told 1 of his staff.. food is a bit pricey and the amount of the mutton peretal tat we ordered is very less.. and it doesnt look like it..its more like watery, gravy like and its too spicy..i dont think small kids can have it.. the thosai that we ordered was fermented too much and those who have gastric, cant tolerate that type of food..and then there was a another boy with his family that ordered the same food the exact time only 1 item was there and the boy waited for so long almost 1/2 hr and out of sudden, one of the staff came and gave him another item that was ordered together and eventually the food tat they received first is finished.. lastly the boy said i dont want the food as my mother finished the food that i ordered together with..To those who works here, you must always ask ur customer have they got their food as i dont think everyone will have the patience..please have the initiative to ask.. dont just ignore and walk pass by ur customer. Your owner cant look after all the customer by himself.. you all must help him to do so also..

Ppl need to understand that this is not a RESTAURANT but a FOOD TRUCK so patience is definitely a virtue if u wish to dine here. There are only 13 tables and you need to wait at least 30-50minutes. Not only that, you will also see inconsiderate customers sitting for hours and some will cut queue to 'reserve' the seat before their turn which is disappointing. Moreover, they only serve VEGETARIAN food. We went at night (around 11.30) thinking the crowd would be less but we still waited fr about 40 minutes. It was raining and we had to take away the food due to limited seat. Personally, the tea tasted ordinary but the food was really good. We ate after 30minutes but the idli was still soft. Chutney was so good and the nasi lemak was delicious too. The owner added 1 extra idli because they were small which was really kind of him. 2 glasses of tea, idli set and 1 vege nasi lemak cost around RM11.50. The cardamon rusk biscuit was also good. (RM0.50 per piece) Kudos to the owner for being kind and making sure everyone got their order. He thanked every customers when they left. My only advice, hopefully the owner finds a more spacious, suitable area and hire more staff to cater everyone's needs. My best wishes to them to make it big in the future.
