Hair Secret — Local services in Kuala Lumpur

I came by yesterday morning to get my hair done at the salon. I would like to leave a glowing review for both my hairstylist & assistant, Shamie and Christina.

Right at the very start, Shamie exuded professionalism — from offering her suggestions, to explaining the entire process in full detail, even pricing and the whole works. Christina too was equally as competent by sharing extra tips and explaining each step along the way.

The five hours I spent there yesterday, both ladies were extremely sweet, friendly and did a fantastic job on my hair. They checked in constantly with me all throughout to ensure I was okay, and I appreciated this very much. It was my first time at the salon and I have to say that it had exceeded my expectations. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my hair transformation and I will most certainly return as often as I can.

Unfortunately, the downside I experienced was that the proprietor/s of the salon was completely uninterested in greeting customers (no form of a simple nod of acknowledgment of presence, nor eye contact, nothing at all really), it made me feel unwelcome & somewhat uncomfortable — there’s certainly room for improvement in this area.

Nonetheless, Shamie & Christina’s excellent service made it a truly pleasant...

Took both my babies for hair cut. Upon our arrival the salon was empty. Despite seeing my hands are full, having two babies the guy name by Aaron asked us to go up stairs. Those who have been to the shop will know how narrow the stairs is and imagine climbing it carrying the babies. We still did it and had our hair cut. Upon paying, I confronted the same blond hair guy asking whether can I see the manager or the owner. He claims himself as the Manager and his name is Aaron,the guy with blonde hair. I asked him why he asked us to go upstairs when he can see we having babies, his reply was the hairstyles is upstairs today. I asked back can't she come down rather us going up, his response was it should not be an issue for us to go upstairs. Very arrogant and inconsiderate behavior. Will never go again. Those who thinking to bring babies over there better think twice.

Calling a customer Karen shows how childish and unprofessional the guy is. I let for everyone to see how this salon treat a customer if they give a negative feedback. Never thought I would see a Blondie karen here in Malaysia. can't even take a feedback in a positive...

It’s my first visit last month. When I first stepped in the saloon I already felt uncomfortable and not welcome as I was not greeted and just asked my name and pointed where to sit, the person looked as if he is fed up of his job. Next was my stylist Shamie, she explained the pricing, it’s really overpriced I did a full hair colour extra long hair below waist when I already mentioned I will cut my hair short. Only after colour she cut my hair off at my bra lenght. It doesn’t make sense to colour my hair first then cut my hair short. I paid a total of RM499 for one tone hair colour and hair cut and a simple hydro treatment. When I ask why this pricing why colour firet then cut, the explanation did not make sense. Very good at twisting and turning. The hair cut spoiled my hair. Her layer cut is not recommended. I had wavy curls now it’s all straight out. Not to mentioned they kept on gossiping about each other over there. I really felt not comfortable. Definitely I will not make...
