Euro Rich Hotel Melaka — Hotel in Malacca

I stayed here before few years back, nothing much impressed (good or bad), so I thought I can give it a try again. The room rate also not cheap, RM220 per night for a superior king size bed (room without window), the room is very small and dim. That was not a king size bed but they combine 2 single bed together.

I booked 2 nights but really cannot stay anymore so I checked out the next day and look for other hotel. I managed to book the Shore residences at RM213.00 only which is far better than this hotel.

Never encounter such a terrible hotel before, can say it is just a budget hotel, but they charge RM220 a night (i know it is festive season) but at least cleanliness should be maintained.

1. The front office lady never ever smile to the guest, when I told her I want to check out, they just accept the access card and said "ok". No intention to ask "why, was there any issue?" Maybe they always encounter that guests always feeling cheated and wanted to check out early?

2. Once you enter into the hotel lobby, there is one kind of smell, when you get out from lift, the smell even get stronger, enter to room, different smell. All not a good smell. The room smell awful & stink.

3. The toilet bowl have urine stain, have asked the cleaner to clean but still the stain was there. DAMN DISGUSTING!!!

4. So funny the room have 1 power point only, so they expects we boiled the water at the bedside table?

Don't waste your time and money...

HOTEL ROOM WITH A ROTTEN SMELL. Worst stay ever. The room was hideous & old. The room smell awful & stink. Water pressure incredibly slow!!! I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Price was Rm240++, I expect to get what I pay for. Actually, I had another booking earlier unfortunately it was overbooked when we arrived at the hotel. It was Public Holiday on the day we came hence there’s not much hotel left for me to choose from coz most hotel was fully booked. Agoda re-book my stay at this Euro Rich Hotel because this is the only hotel that is still available. Upon arrival we were so frustrated with the condition. The room had bad rotten smell, on the pillow, on the bed, on the curtain like no one ever stay in this room / hotel for a while. No wonder this hotel is still available while other hotel are fully booked. Pls everyone, if you read my review pls do not book this hotel. Go for other hotels. This hotel is not just hideous, it smell badly, no basic essentials, no dressing table, phone in the room is not working, incredibly noisy, this is seriously 1 STAR hotel. & you can see a lot of migrant workers come to sleep...

Reception name Farid working with no passion but still need salary.what i mean this is when me and my family ontheway from KL to melaka i call hotel to confirm check in time.when i call reception guy name farid pickup my call with no any greeting and with no any single word like (hello,hi)just pickup then silent,until im the one talk say 'hi' on the line and still not have a proper ansnwer its feel like are we check in the to scammer hotel or what? why so scare to asnwer call and question,,and when we check in around 4pm when i proceed to counter i think same reception guy who pickup my call name Farid attend me,when i at counter with no smile and also with no any say "hi"he ask me like im at emigresen counter at the airport. he ask for the room deposit and parking like the hell.Euro Rich hotel I know u are budget hotel but please train all ur recpetion staff to work as a hotel frontdest not a scammer office.i dont mine about the greeting cause ya i know its just budget hotel but when talk to the guest please||show ur face with smile ur not working at Emigresen...
