ā€œModern Comfort in the Heart of Melaka – Mercury Boutique Hotel Delivers Great Value!ā€ Mercury Boutique Hotel Address: No. 32, Jalan PM6, Plaza Mahkota, 75000 Melaka . Great Value and Location – Would Happily Stay Again I stayed at the Mercury Boutique Hotel for 7 nights and had a very comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel has a modern design and tasteful interior decor, making it feel welcoming and fresh. I found the staff genuinely welcoming and quick to sort out any issues. Any minor issues I had were dealt with efficiently, which I appreciated. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and fresh linen. I particularly liked having a safe, tea/coffee amenities, and an electric kettle—small touches that made the stay more convenient. The air conditioning was quiet and effective, and the double-glazed window kept out nearly all the street noise, making it surprisingly peaceful, given the central location. It’s just a short walk to Jonker Street and close to malls and plenty of restaurants, which was perfect for exploring Melaka without needing transport. The shower had excellent water pressure and consistent hot water, which isn’t always a given in budget-friendly hotels, so that was a nice bonus. There are a couple of downsides: the Wi-Fi is not secure, which was a concern for me when I needed to work or access sensitive information online, and the hallways tended to be noisy. Overall, the positives far outweighed the negatives, and I’d be happy to stay again. This is a great little hotel for its price point, especially if you’re after convenience, comfort, and friendly service in the heart of Melaka.

A very nice hotel for the price. Located close to heritage site and taman sari, 5 min walking distance. A well maintained, clean hotel with clean room and washroom. Nice bed, quilt and good AC, TV n such basic amenities.Theres ironing room outside, locker inside room too, to store the valuables. Got very nice deep sleep, only woke up to the alarm. Soundproof glass walls too, though situated close to road, cant hear a noise. Theres a relaxing massage chair downstairs. There's shampoo, bodywash, clean towels. On request, they'll give floor mat too. Kindly dont use towel as floor mat. Get your own brush, paste and drinking water, as it's not provided. Overall a pleasant stay. No chaos, no irritation and clean.

On arrival, the check in process is smooth and a deposit of RM50 is required. Initially, we were assigned to a room on the second floor. The pathway was narrow and tight with very little light. But the room was in a mess and was not ready. So we came back to the reception and was given another room at the ground floor. The room is spacious and looks clean. However, the bedsheets are not tucked in and and are left hanging by the sides. They are crumpled and had bad body odour smell. Fortunately, Mercury provides 2 pillows for each bed. Everything else was just okay and functional. Parking is available at the front of the hotel, under the bridge.

My husband and I stayed there for two nights. At first we were given a room on the first floor but after we pointed out the 'partial seaview' mentioned by Agoda, the receptionist kindly changed our room to the third floor which did have a partial view of the sea in the far distance, haha. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our double room with a queen-sized bed was small but good enough for us. Came equipped with tv, mini fridge, safe box, open wardrobe, full-length mirror and hair dryer. We were especially impressed with the 'sleep' light just outside the bathroom which was dim enough for us to sleep yet bright enough for us to find our way to the bathroom during the night. There is also filtered water besides the usual faucets. It would be better if there was a toilet paper holder and something to prevent the water from the shower to flow out of the shower area. Our bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. Another plus point is the free parking available under the flyover just across the hotel which is only accessible with the hotel access card. Good location too, near enough to walk to Jonker Street, Stadthuys, etc which we did, far enough to not be disturbed by the loud music from...
