Asam Pedas Dynda — Restaurant in Malacca

EXPENSIVE, DIRTY AND SLOW SERVICE! FIRST AND LAST! -took ALMOST 1 HOUR IN TOTAL OF WAITING for kueytiao and set asam pedas to arrive + drinks -2 lemon ice, 1 ice tea, 1 ice tea o + meals above = rm46 -arrived first but customers that arrived later get their order first -ordered nasi goreng but never arrived although they asked us a few times for confirmation -children i assume family members of the owner playing and touching the lauk inside the cabinet(?) -2 of the children standing on the table WITH THEIR SLIPPERS! -wanted to pay for the meal also NEED TO WAIT since there are no people on the counter as the waiters cant...

I came last night with both my nephews and brother. The food was good and worth the price we paid. Today we are here again and despite having a full house and understaffed, I ambik lauk sendiri je since I also run a restaurant and know how it feels when kedai busy gila mcm tu. Air kaw and sedap but assam pedas need to balance the masam manis n masin baru lagi kick. And your staff yg pakai cap very nice despite having to serve customer punya food, jd cashier and lap meja. Toilet ada pipe lg cun kay!...

Decided to try this shop because we saw quite a lot of customers and thought the food would be good. It was quite a disappointment. The plate of vege (7rm) was nothing special. The assam pedas was not bad (20rm) but the dish that didn't make any sense was sambal ikan bilis with a few pieces of petai (12rm!!!?) When is ikan bilis with sambal so expensive? Soggy ikan bilis, not crispy with 6-7 half pieces of petai....
