Please Improve Your Service The condition of the bedroom was very unsatisfactory to me. One of the most disappointing aspects was the state of the mattress cover, pillows, and comforters – all appeared very worn out and looked like they hadn’t been replaced in a long time. The comforter also didn’t match the queen-size bed, and I had to pay an additional RM10 just to get another one. The bed was low to the ground, and the lighting in the room was dim with no bright lights, making it hard to find anything. The toilet was not cleaned before my arrival. Used toothbrush and soap from the previous guest were still there and not thrown away. Although check-in was not allowed earlier, the room was in an unacceptable condition. The floor was seriously dirty and sticky. I had to wear the provided slippers all the time. Even after flushing, soap residue remained. I requested a call at 3 PM for check-in confirmation, but no one called me back. I had to call myself to check if I could enter. The worst part was the service – while the phone was answered quickly, the service itself was poor. The parking area is steep with sharp corners, making it difficult to drive in and out. At night, it was very dark. I would not recommend this place for a family trip. It might be okay for backpackers. My room was very close to Kea Farm market. I had requested a non-smoking and more private room, but this was not provided. One of the reasons for the cleanliness issue is that cockroaches were seen moving around – likely because the door was not properly sealed, allowing them to enter. Since the area is open to the public, it was very noisy, and the windows were not secure and easily opened. Definitely not recommended for families. While the surroundings are nice for taking pictures, the facilities are lacking and disappointing.

We booked a deluxe suite through AGODA and stayed for one night on March 30, 2024. Upon checking in, it was really not worth it, and the price was not cheap either. 1. The bed sheets, covers, and pillowcases all had disgusting stains. (We asked for replacements, but were told the service was closed.) 2. There were many dirty, black particles on the bed. 3. The floor was sticky and dirty. 4. There were cracks in the floor, which could potentially scratch children if they're not careful. 5. The smell in the bathroom was strong and stagnant, the drainage in the bathroom was poor too. 6. The television only had one channel. 7. The parking situation was terrifying. It should be noted that the parking is very challenging; at least we would have been mentally prepared. The slope was at a 40-degree angle, so scary and challenging! 8. The WiFi was limited to only two devices. This was not clearly stated when we made the booking; it claimed that it has 'free WiFi' for customers. 9. Cockroaches were freely roaming in the bathroom, especially at night. 10. The soundproofing was very poor. 11. The room air was also not circulating well. 12. The hairdryer stopped working after a single use. 13. The toilet paper didn't seem very clean either; it had many black spots.

While the guest house doesn't boast luxury amenities, it provides the essentials for a stay, including tea bags, toothbrushes, and towels. However, there are areas for improvement. The bed could be more comfortable, and the bedspread should ideally be cleaner and without holes. Additionally, an extra mirror and better security measures and sound proof for the doors and windows would enhance the experience. The standout feature of the guest house is the friendly service at the reception. However, noise from the garden can disrupt sleep, despite signage requesting guests to keep quiet. The lack of enforcement on noise levels can be frustrating (typically late night and early morning), especially when guests are using the swings, which emit loud squeaking sounds that penetrate into the rooms. Furthermore, the absence of a lift to the third-floor rooms can pose challenges for elderly guests with heavy luggage. On a positive note, the guest house's location is favorable, with ongoing development promising more attractions within walking distance in the coming years. Overall, the guest house is suitable for a casual stay, particularly for groups of friends looking to enjoy the inviting garden space for socializing and relaxation

So my mum and I made a decision to stay here from 26-29 Dec 17 cos by the time we booked in Nov, a lot of the better places were not available and the reviews on booking.com on this place seemed okay. ||||Location: If you don't have a car, this place is difficult to get to. If you have a car, it's a bonus but be prepared for the massive traffic jams after 11am. It is located near a pasar which is incredibly hard to get into unless you walk. ||||Next up: Although it says Brinchang, this place is located in a village further up from Brinchang. So nope, it aint Brinchang exactly. We alighted at Tanah Rata Terminal and from there, you need to take a taxi which is 25-30RM to Kea Garden. It is a good 20-30 min ride cos it is where all the farms are. ||||Food: Bloody hell, if you're talking about getting food at a coffeeshop setting, um, you have to walk 15-20mins to the nearest hotel/shopping area which is Nova (if it is halal food). It is nice to walk but not when you're starving, which was the case for my family haha. But it is a consolation that in Kea Garden, there are halal food options open till 5pm and a Chinese Steamboat Restaurant(which looks cleaner than the Muslim one, if you ask me). 10mins walk ahead from kea garden is Jin Jin Steamboat Restaurant and I saw tonnes of people here(so Chinese peeps, you guys are lucky haha!) So nope, it is not impossible to find food without a car, we walked and survived! ||||But anyway, it is pretty dangerous to walk on the road which we were doing all the time cos we didn't have a choice. I didn't see many people walking except some people from Copthorne which is about 5-10mins from Kea Garden. ||||Now the guesthouse itself. sigh, where do I even start? I booked this place because it looked pretty! And sure enough, the surroundings are pretty. There are wooden benches and roses outside the rooms and you can chill there. My fam and I did this half the time and in the middle of the night cos it was a nice place to chill with strawberry tea and it was raining half the time. In the morning, it is nice to see the views of the the plantations with all the mist. Worth it? YES. ||||The room itself; it is a basic room with 3 hangers for a family of 4. We asked for more cos it makes no sense for 3 hangers to be shared by 4 people. I was told by the receptionist that that is the norm for all the rooms but she took down my room number. Did we get the hangers? Nope hahha. But it is okay, we survived! So bring your own hangers. ||||The beds are fine, I liked that it was one the ground mounted by a wooden platform, that was a nice rustic touch. The covers are a tad filthy, i found a clump of hair on my covers which were definitely not mine, but it's okay, we slept and survived! ||||The towels are filthy, so we didn't really use it much and there were black stains; my guess is due to the fact that when they clear the rooms, they dump the towels on the ground outside the room where people walk on! But they did change it everyday, so thank you for that. ||||The sink leaks so each time we open it, it floods the floor which somewhat like a sauna flooring which is why it is damp all the time. Shout out the kind chamber maids who gave us another towel to wipe the floor. Thank you!||||The toilets, now this one is filthy as heck. We found dirt like everywhere! It is alright that the place is basic but it ain't alright if it is filthy! We had to clean the toilet and found tissue paper, black stuff, mud like stuff which is really gross. The floor is flooded all the time because the draining system is not that great. There is lukewarm water, thank god for that, very grateful that we were not bathing in ice cold water. But there is no place for us to put our toiletries so have the time, we washed our face at the sink outside. Yet again, we survived!||||What irks me the most is the fact that I tried to contact the guesthouse 5 times, twice on Facebook, and the rest on Booking.com via email. Despite seeing my messages, nobody replied and I was desperate to find out how to get to this place. Regardless, we took the taxi from Tanah Rata bus terminal cos the bus didn't seem to be running. ||||Anyway, would we stay again? Hmm I don't know. It is a difficult choice. If they improve on cleanliness, yes I would stay here again even without a car because it was nice to chill here away from the crowds. Otherwise, if you want to stay near the farms but you want comfort, you are better off staying in Nova. Oh yes, forgot to include that the Wifi doesn't work and there are only 2 Tv channels out of 6 worth watching but again, at least the channels...

COCKROACHES IN ROOMS, not safe, stinky, dirty, disgusting, inconvenient, poorly made. WORST hotel i’ve ever been in, i’ve been to cheap hotels and i’ve never encountered this lack of customer service and care for hygiene. The place is poorly up kept and really inconvenient to walk to your room. First of all, there are no elevators, you’re gonna need to carry the luggage UP THE STAIRS which is really narrow and tiring. Not worth the money at all you might as well pay extra. I stayed one night only and it was already a nightmare. You can imagine if you do stay for multiple nights. Regarding the room, the layout is terrible and the quality of furniture is just poor. You’re getting ripped off. The space itself is a public area so anyone can enter. DEFINITELY not safe for kids or young people staying. Anyone can walk past all the hallways and just enter through the door or window if they are opened the window is big enough for a 150cm person. The door is very unsafe and the key doesn’t serve any purpose but to access your room. Before leaving your room, press the door lock from inside then close the door from the outside it’s not really tight but it’s better than locking it with the key that doesn’t work the type of door they use is cheap and they did not mention this to the visitors. The room is dusty not cleaned well and if unlucky your bedsheets will have stains that aren’t safe to use. If you ever want to go, DO bring a disinfectant spray and spray the entire room. The floors have cracks and the pallets used to put the bed is made of cheap wood that’s thin and flexes. Definitely only for aesthetic purposes. Besides that, the view is extremely creepy at night with many dark corners for people to lurk in. Please supervise your children if you ever want them to bring them out at night. The tv only has a couple channels which are solely for the purpose to write on their attributes in their site. You will never use them except for leaving it on while you’re out. the walls are dirty the hangers fall apart. The toilet is NOT cleaned properly the toilet bowl was not scrubbed clean leaving faeces remains. The shower is doesnt work. The heaters aren’t consistent and sometimes water just doesn’t come out. The shower curtain is dirty and the hairdryer doesn’t work. I initially thought this would be a good night with friends for one day but it has turned into a nightmare for all of us not to mention the COCKROACHES. There were at least 2-4 cockroaches in our room and that’s the biggest red flag. They DO NOT clean this place well and the customer service is absolute trash. Our night was ruined because of this hotel leaving me with only 45 minutes of sleep. I’m not exaggerating 😭😭 The mirrors aren’t full body length instead it’s just enough for your head. This is t the most important but it clearly tells that the people who made this place did not care about customer loyalty nor did they think of the comfort of guests. Slippers are really uncomfortable feel cheap. Even though the price is cheap they could have raised the price to just gives a better experience. The lights are really dim and one table fan. Overall this place is really bad and it’s not worth the money in comparison to the trouble you have to go through. Besides that, the environment stinks and is...
