I came to try the food here as it was just walking distance from copthorne hotel. This restaurant doesn't look very fancy, overall vibe is kinda casual. The kitchen is right in front of the restaurant and the good thing about it is that the smoke suction machine does its job well. You can barely smell any smoke coming off the kitchen. The chef prepares the food himself, his serving speed is surprisingly fast.
We had a lemon chicken, ginger onion deer meat, stir fry pork belly, vegetables, a fish bee hoon soup. Out of these my favourite was the pork belly. The sauce is sweet and savory. The pork belly is tender, fatty and juicy. The lemon chicken taste okay, but it's full of bones, if the chicken were debone first before cooking it'd great. The deer meat is tender and juicy. That is good. Fish bee hoon was okay only. The fish was not seasoned well it has the muddy smell. The broth was delicious though. Portion is big and compatible with the pricing.

So during the second visit, we would like to try their steamboat in the evening. Staffs recommended a RM 130 Steamboat for two, which is their signature fish head steamboat dish. Inquired further whether this pricing has any else meat other than fish paste, unfortunately it isn't. So it's not worth it for the price. Unlike many other restaurants in Cameron Highland which serve lousy food yet charging sky high prices, this restaurant truly came as a surprise to us, as not only its price was very reasonable, the food quality was also very good, and very delicious of course.
As what I have I been told by the staff, this restaurant was opened by an experienced chef who previously worked at different hotels. That kinda explains why the food here are really so delicious.
Also not to forget, the staffs here are also very friendly and attentive.
