During my recent visit to Malta, I had the pleasure of stopping by Chez Eman CrĂȘpes, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The cozy atmosphere immediately caught my attention, with its welcoming interior.
The menu offers a fantastic variety, from local favorites like ftira sandwiches to international options. I tried the Maltese ftira with tuna, capers, and olives, and it was bursting with fresh, bold flavors. The portions were generous, and everything tasted homemade, with fresh ingredients that really stood out.
What really sets this snack bar apart is the service. The staff was incredibly friendly, making me feel like a valued guest. They were quick to offer recommendations and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. We had an engaging conversation about Malta. They were not only professional and attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the island's culture, history, and local gems. It was refreshing to chat with people so passionate and well-informed, turning a simple dining experience into a memorable one. Thank you for your excellent service and wonderful conversation!
Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a relaxing spot to enjoy a coffee, Chez Eman CrĂȘpes delivers on both quality and ambiance. Itâs a must-visit...
Read moreAn absolute find, by chance of walking past but would recommend this to tourists and locals alike! Shocked at the value, taste and service - all were 10/10. We had a chocolate and banana crepe, and a ham, egg and cheese crepe - the portion was huge with plenty of filling and it was absolutely delicious. We also had a vanilla milkshake which was really tasty, and a pineapple and orange smoothie which was incredible and clearly fresh. We could see them make everything from scratch, it truly has so much love into it. What looks relatively unassuming on the road between Rabat and Mdina is probably the best food weâve had in Malta. Just wish we were staying local so we could eat here again. Please support these wonderful people. Two crepes, a smoothie and milkshake and bottle of water (âŹ1) came to âŹ20.50 which for us is a no brainer to support local. There are a couple of seats inside but when itâs hot and humid outside, the inside of the shop is the same (no air con) but were plenty of benches around the corner to sit and eat at before...
Read moreFresh and value for money street food. It's a small Mama Papa place with a small sit-in, but the main trade is Taway. The show case in the front is examples only. When you go in and order your Ftira, they toast the roll and fill ingredients as its cooking and make your order. the meat ones are âŹ5 and veg less can not remember, we also had Vanilla milkshakes... yum. they take orders to cook and we wait outside on payment, be patient and you'll be rewarded with wholesome good filling food, there are public branches near by, by the car park to sit and eat. Some tourists were inconsiderate which is a shame, there is a review saying its dark inside and not hygiene, I disagree about the hygiene, yes its dark but what's it to you taking away, do you want strob lights?? and dancing music, it's not the Ritz... I highly recommend this place for filling that midday / snack...
