This was the least expensive hotel I found in Cabo for my last-minute escape from a snowy February in Vancouver. I got reasonable value for what I paid.
The suites room was fairly basic. It was super clean, and unlike the photos, had a microwave, which I appreciated as I was self catering. There was no room balcony, which was good as the noisy highway is close by. But there is a shared quiet 4th floor balcony I used instead, and the room is very quiet due to triple glazing.
Breakfast is a bit hit or miss. Sometimes no butter or jam or mayo, but enough to fil me until a light lunch, and lots of fresh fruit. The coffee was gross, but I bought fresh milk from Walmart, an 800m walk away, and made my own. The closest beach is a 1.4km walk away, and I enjoyed that, but you would need a car if you're going further afield.
I found the wifi good, good enough to stream movies, but the hotel seemed only half full, so maybe not so good if full. The front line staff were great, and the daily cleaner really nice.
The pool was good. If you want to drink, you can order from the pool bat, which I didn't explore.
Overall, I got what I paid for, but if you want a holiday on the beach front with a balcony view, prepare to pay several...
Read moreHotel is definitely overpriced for the area. Internet no reliable and very slow so I couldn't work.
Employees are very nice but need some coaching and training. They seem to be overworked for lack of proper management .
Hotel Security person kindly help the team in the kitchen for lack of employees available.
Hard to believe there was no butter or enough orange juice for breakfast. You get a menu only if you ask
The structure of the kitchen and service tables does not make sense. Rooms are nice but no enough storage Pillows are not good for a $200 per day room cost average room. Window are seal so forget about room fresh air in the room.
Towels are like sand paper and stained.
Room walls are not well insulated so you will enjoy all neighbors business and they will enjoy yours.
Swimming pool is fantastic but food and drinks are limited.
Believe it or not, they had only one kind of beer and wasn't Coronas.
I stayed in way better hotels for same price in Cabo.
So I am not staying here again
The management mentality of saving money, it has always felt in the Hotel industry.
They are very lucky to have Air Canada as business partners but who knows...
Read moreHotel has a lot of potential but unfortunately I just happened to be here the week they opened after hurricane repairs. The manager was present around the hotel throughout the week and was willing to help if there was any issues he could address. That did make the experience better than it was initially. The pool was nice to have and the air conditioners were silent, rooms were a bit small but that's what I was looking for to reduce the price a little bit. Overall the hotel should be quite nice in a couple of weeks once all the links get worked out. Free coffee all day is another bonus. Would wait until probably January 2018 and would...
