Went on two days both times the food is great, price is about the same as in the rest of the places you can find in the area(very overpriced), the only let down at the place is that they try to impose a 20-25% tip on you which is ridiculous in my opinion, 10% is the standard in Mexico(for tourists as locals don’t leave tips, you can tell them you don’t want to leave such a high tip or a tip at all just pay the exact amount in cash and leave as they can’t stop you. The first day I went I didn’t realise they had decided to put such a high tip as they give you a receipt with how much you owe and then a large number written by hand circled with the amount + the tip they want(… who does this???), hence the second day I didn’t leave a tip so I paid in cash and left. If it wasn’t for there way of doing things I think they would have happier customers as there food is 8/10 I can’t lie though portion sizes are quite small and there nachos are stale(tried the guacamole and another plate with nachos on the second day(both times stale, DONT ORDER NACHOS) but the burritos 10/10 amazing the best I have tried so far in Mexico in the past week of my trip it is just the tip situation which doesn’t make sense to me if you want to impose a tip it shouldn’t be over 10% or just don’t impose one as most people here are tourists so they tend to leave a tip regardless tho most of the time it won’t be 20-25%. Also note mosquitos do ruin the place there are hundreds right now they try to get rid of them by burning tree resin around the restaurant which is quite a bit of a show(enjoyable) though it only gets rid of them temporarily(about 1-2min after they drop burning it(the stop burning it because it creates a great...

We ordered pastor buritto and chicken tacos. Very fast after we made na order, waiter came with tacos (wrong order, that was order from table next to ours). We didn’t notice that order wasn’t for us, because our order was also 4 tacos. Shortly after, waiter came with our orders to guests next to us. Then waiter realised that he missed orders. Meanwhile, we already ate 2 tacos of 4 tacos. When we realised that we got wrong order, we stopped to eat immediately. Waiter Said “No problem, my fault, it’s on me.” And then he put our order from their table to ours. Food was good. Finally we received the receipt with wrong order also and extra tip (wrote with pen). We said that we will not pay what we didn’t order Because that was waiters mistake. Then show started. Waiter mantioned that he will call the police and we said “yes, you can call”. Ofc he didn’t call the police because no one can force us to pay tip and also order which we didn’t order. Tips Are not Mandatory and especcially charging tips in the amount which waiter wants! Chaos continued for 10minutes. Then we start to talk with another personnel and they totally agreed with us. At the End we paid 2 tacos from wrong order and all our order, without tip due to VERY BAD BEHAVIOUR of this arogant waiter. He wasn’t polite at all and he was repeating “You...

After walking to the far south side of Tulum, we stopped for tacos at Pinches, a spot we’d heard good things about and were excited to try.

We both ordered a mix of pork and steak tacos. The pork taco was good — tender — but lacked the rich, flavorful depth we’re used to. The steak taco, however, was fantastic — easily one of the better street tacos I’ve ever had. We were full, but the steak tacos were so good we ended up ordering another round — and they were just as delicious the second time.

I ordered a draft Heineken, but the waitress simply dropped off a bottle without checking if that was okay. Unfortunately, the beer wasn’t even slightly cold; disappointing on a hot Tulum night.

Meanwhile, my wife ordered a juice mix, which she enjoyed. However, I watched the waiter try to toss ice into the blender from a distance, missing repeatedly. When ice landed near the blender, he casually picked it up with his hands and dropped it in with no apparent concern. It didn’t occur to me until later that this ended up being my wife's drink, but by then, she had already finished it.

Overall, I'd come back for steak tacos any day. The salsas were...

We recently visited this taco place that left me and my boyfriend absolutely delighted. The tacos were simply amazing, especially the seafood ones, which were a standout. The meat tacos were also delicious, packed with flavor. We were lucky to have Augusto as our server on all three of our visits during our stay. He was friendly and attentive, which made our experience even better. We ordered the Taquiza seafood mix twice and the meat mix once, and each was more than enough for two people, making it a perfect choice for sharing. Another highlight was their happy hour deal, where you could get 2 perfrct margaritas for the price of one at just 200 MXN. It was a fantastic way to relax and enjoy the evening with some great drinks. Overall, this taco spot in Tulum is a must-visit if you're in the area. The combination of amazing food, friendly service, and great deals makes it a place I'll definitely return to on my next trip!

If you like a place with staff that jerks you around, this place is awesome! I tried 3 times to order from here. First I arrived at around 9:45pm and was told their kitchen closed at 9, contrary to the posted hours. Then I tried to order just after noon, and again was told the kitchen wouldn't open until 1pm, again despite the posted hours. Undeterred, I returned two hours later, only to be told they didn't have any tacos, only quesadillas and burritos. Ultimately, I believe the staff were goofing me around, but even if they were telling the truth, first, if you post hours, HONOR THEM! Second, if you call yourself a taqueria, maybe make sure your primary product is available. "In tacos we trust"? Apparently only when they feel like it.
