We booked 30 minutes of hammam and 30 minutes of couples massage, priced at €70 per person, as external guests (not hotel guests). Unfortunately, we were more disappointed than impressed. When you arrive, you're taken to the basement, where there is one room for the massage and another for the hammam, right next to each other. There is no changing area or space to leave your belongings. You have to undress and leave your things on one of the massage tables in the massage room, while the massage therapists are already waiting next to you. We asked the therapists if we should change into the bottom part of our swimsuits, but they said no—or didn’t understand English—so we stayed in our underwear, thinking we'd only need it for the massage. The massage itself came first and was okay. Afterward, they gestured for us to move to the next room for the hammam, still in our underwear. The hammam itself wasn't bad, but everything felt very rushed. At the end of the treatment, we were given bathrobes to dry off, and then, still with wet hair, we had to get dressed again in the same room where everything else took place. Of course, we didn't have a change of underwear, only our swimsuits, which we ended up putting on after the treatment—when it really should have been the other way around. And that was it. They sent us off completely overheated and with soaking wet hair, without any time to relax or even a cup of tea after the treatment. So we went back to our accommodation all wet, and had to shower and dry our hair all over again. We were especially disappointed because this wasn’t our first hammam experience — we’ve had much better hospitality and treatment elsewhere for a much...

Historical and classical home conversion in a bed and breakfast inn. It has several rooms with individual bedrooms and private bathrooms. The main floor has a small swimming pool and gathering area. Entrance is bit narrow to the building and it is ona back drop of a hill so steep stairs to the building but it is tastefully decorated with marble and elegant walls and lamps. Lobby is very classy with a carved wooden wall and ceiling. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Upon entering they will serve a hot tea and toast while checking in. |Two floors and several bedrooms with classic architecture, with tastefully decorated with carved wooden ceilings, doors and closet with large seating, desk, elegant mirror and a split mini heat pump. Canopy bed with a king size extra firm mattress. I would prefer a soft bed but it is very firm. Four large pillows and clean sheets and comforter are welcoming. A small refrigerator and water warmer is convenient.|Bathroom is small but comfortable. A shower area with mosaic walls and floor, a golden sink with a gold frame mirror and hairdryer was adequate.|Some impeccable but plenty of power and adequate to accommodate laptop and phone chargers. WiFi is available but connectivity varies depending upon location. I’m impressed with overall efficiency and good service. Breakfast is served at first floor and it is...

Unfortunately, we had to stay here for two nights, and it was far from a pleasant experience. The Riad is essentially a modern building dressed up with interior décor to give the impression of a traditional Riad, but it lacks authenticity and charm. It’s located in a block of contemporary buildings, quite different from what the photos suggest.||||The room we stayed in was not clean, and the only windows opened into the shared courtyard, meaning they couldn’t be left open—leaving the room poorly ventilated. ||||The bathroom was badly designed, with a slow-draining shower. To make matters worse, we encountered cockroaches, some of which ended up in our luggage.||||The food served at the on-site restaurant was bland and uninspiring. We also used the Riad’s laundry service, which is charged per load. Upon return, our laundry included clothes that weren’t ours, and we discovered that some of our items were missing. When we asked, we were told the laundry was mixed during drying—unacceptable for a paid service. Unfortunately, the missing items were never recovered.||||The SPA was actually dirty and nothing like shown in the photos, the SPA toilet was filthy.|| ||Overall, this stay was highly disappointing, and we would not recommend this...

This is an absolutely beautiful Riad in the Medina of Fez. The staff was very friendly, particularly at the front desk and in the restaurant. I had a very accommodating, spacious, quiet, and well aircondtioned room. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a shower, sink, and toilet, as well as other amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser, soap, and towels. TV and wifi were available, and a mineral water bottle was provided every day. The room interiors were wonderful. The chance of cooling down in the swimming pool from the stifling heat in Fez was a welcome relief. The view from the rooftop over Fez is just amazing, and the dinner at the rooftop restaurant was also an enjoyable experience. The breakfast was on the ground floor and a tasty French/Moroccan style fare. The staff were customer focused and eager to help, and the service was without fault. It is a very nice place to stay at, relax, and forget the hectic outside world for a while. I love the place.

Very nice staff and extremely helpful. We stayed in 3 rooms on the second floor. The rooms feel like an old castle. They had split system AC/Heat that did pretty well on a cold cold night. Beautiful roof top views! Great location near the center of town. Very very good internet. The best Wi-Fi we had on our 15 day trip. 45mb up and downloads. Hot water was good. Spacious room with TV area, couch and large table too. Moroccan Breakfast each morning with lots of their food to pick from. Only downside is the bed we had was really really hard and our bodies hurt after sleeping. Hips and shoulders. Makes it tough to sleep. And the shower leaks a lot of water across the floor to the sink area. Shower needs fixing. It’s missing trim at the bottom to keep the water inside. And there’s more water coming out then the drain can handle. If they had more comfortable beds/mattress for foreigners that would make it 5 stars! Thanks for the pleasant stay!

The Palais is beautiful in common areas and the pool was clean. The water was cold but refreshing. The location was quiet but an easy walk to Cinema Cafe which was the best place we ate while in Morocco. The service was terse and awkward. The employees did not seem to want to help bring breakfast or water bottles. The tap water makes you sick so bottle water is a must. The rooms are so beautiful but not maintained. The bathroom was full of broken tiles and the toilet leaked water all over the floor. The shower does not drain and also leaks over the floor. It was very dirty. The window locks don't work so anyone could just push the window open and take your things. I would not recommend not would I stay there again.
