This could've been great and ended in disaster. Rude guests with no self awareness or respect for anyone else and hotel staff that have full conversations at midnight with guests. This IS A HOUSE, not a hotel. An echoey house at that. When we arrived the first colleague told us after 10pm we should be respectful of other guests and since we arrived after 10pm we whispered while checking in, this was no issue for us and we were relieved this was advised by the hotel as we enjoy the quiet ourselves. Well he left, and the new colleague didn't seem to follow these same respectful rules. Our last night we went to bed at 9, with an alarm set for 02:30Am for a flight at 5. We had ZERO sleep, as first we were kept up by screaming children apparently brought back to the hotel at 11pm running around the room shouting, followed by loud Spanish guests at midnight having a full conversation which I actually came out and told them to be quiet. Then at 1am a group of Chinese girls showed up, having again a full conversation in the echoey lounge which you could even hear from the roof terrace! I then asked the hotel why they weren't telling guests to be quiet. He said it's business but we weren't told that at the beginning. Apparantly checking in new guests means screw the existing guests. Muhammed was fantastic and also the 2 ladies (Miriam & another) who work during the day, I appreciate their help but this stay was ruined at the end by rude guests and hotel staff that apparantly have no awarness of other guests. Really a shame and definitely won't...
Read moreLovely quaint place, very secure and safe, staff are friendly and helpful. Especially the young lad Islam, went out his way to help us and keep us comfortable, slight no trash bin issue only small one in bathroom not ideal if you have kids, needs more plug sockets and a fridge at least, totally understand it's a riad and there are no surrounding windows but more fans should be placed in rooms. Along with the current A/C Bathroom shelving and lighting also par, and no complementary water. The chef jamilla is also lovely and will cook you up anything you want. If you want dinner at a late time she will stay till late too.
Location difficult if you have young kids who don't want to walk in the heat, roads are too narrow for cars so a 3-5min walk to the street is intended each time you come and go. Luckily toktoks will drive you straight to the door but they are hard to come by unless your In the square prior. Neighbourhood lovely , watch out for the helpful neighbours, who want to carry your bags for you or guide you somewhere, they CHARGE. They do charge a bit to everything the riad helps with from food to calling you cabs. The airport is 10mins away and shouldn't be anything over 50dirhams by large cab(large coz 4+in family). So once your settled in find yourself a good driver. Most people are honest and helpful. Corner shop guy speaks French and is very helpful. And nightlife is amazing. A place you would want to check out once in a lifetime...
Read moreMy wife and I decided on this small hotel because of its reputation and unbeatable price, and we could verify that every praise is absolutely deserved. When we arrived at the door we thought we had made a mistake in our decision but once we crossed the threshold the positive effect on us was immediate. What really distinguishes this Riad is that its human team: RedOne (Abderraman), Fatima and Khadija are not only employees, they are exceptional hosts who work with genuine passion and a lot of professionalism. Their attention goes beyond duty; it shows that they are wonderful people, focused on making you feel at home. Its warmth makes this place a jewel. The riad is small and cozy, a haven of peace. Its location is ideal, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the pulse of the city: we could walk to all the main points of interest in Marrakech. For the return to the airport, a tip: use their transportation services. It is the most comfortable and efficient way to end the trip. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner (Muhammed) and his dedication is palpable. He personally cares about every detail of his business and is deeply committed to excellence. It is evident that he has managed to create a space where tradition, comfort and impeccable service merge perfectly. The Arabian Riad is a...
