We liked the look of this place and the fact that it served crêpes and waffles. Understand that it is a relatively new business. The staff are cheery and welcoming but the younger men are so busy trying to attract customers from the street that the two people actually serving are a bit overwhelmed. My husband placed an order for a waffle with tuna but no cheese. He got a pancake with tuna and cheese. When he brought this to the attention of the server, he then came back with a waffle and tuna, but still cheese. Thankfully, my husband does not have an allergy to cheese. It is just personal preference to go without. So he did eat it but by this time id eaten mine. We thoroughly enjoyed the waffles, I had the chicken one and it was delicious. The quality of the food coming from the kitchen did look very good. We also shared a nut and honey pancake, which was nicely presented and tasty. We hope the business does well as the food is good but the owners really do need to manage the staff so that they concentrate more on what the customer wants rather than messing about. It’s good to see them having fun at work, but the priority has to be around the service...
Read moreIf you're looking for the best place in Morocco when it comes to food (traditional cuisine and delicious pancakes with many options), you're definitely going to love this spot. We had a hotel just 2 minutes away and on our first day, we went there straight “off the street.” The hospitality and warmth of the people working there were exactly what we needed after a tiring journey. The portions were large and very tasty. During our 3-day stay, we visited the place 4 times and tried something different each time (the couscous is the best!).
If you have any questions about Morocco (what to do, where to go, how to get around), Khalid is a treasure trove of knowledge — he’ll help you with everything and answer any questions. I highly recommend this place both for meeting Khalid and for enjoying excellent...
Read moreThis restaurant did not look all that special, but they proved me so wrong. When we arrived there were ready a lot of people sitting and waiting for the food, the restaurants around them was not nearly as busy, so that should be a good sign. After sitting down they greeted us with great english with menus. After we ordered we got served all together (which does not happen often where we have eaten). The food was great and super tasty nothing else to note. They even asked for feedback and if we enjoyed the food. Then we just stayed and chilled and we had fun conversation about whistling, whereas the employee responded by teaching us how to do the moroccan whistle which was really fun to see. All in all great food with good service with lovely interaction!...
