My girlfriend and I stayed at Riad Merzouga for two nights and we loved it. First of all, the staff is super kind, professional and friendly - they really wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay in the riad. They turned on the air conditioning in our room before our arrival so that we could find a nice temperature inside; they offered to change our room just in case we didn't fancy the one they assigned to us; they served us dinner on the terrace each night even though they normally have guests eating by the pool on the ground floor. On our departure, they even sang an Italiang song for us to say goodbye.

The food they serve (traditional Moroccan cousine) is delicious and definitely one of the very best we had in Morocco. Fruit and vegetables were extremely good as well! Breakfast was abundant and very good too.

The stuff recommended the " Le Bain de Kasbah" hammam to us and it was just lovely - I would recommend it to everyone interested! We stayed there on our last morning and it was a fantastic experience. When we came back to the riad, the staff offered us some orange juice to celebrate together our first hammam experience.

The staff speaks Moroccan Arabic, Berber, Spanish and a bit of English. They are now learning Italian on Duolingo which I believe further demonstrates their commitment to a seamless customer experience at their Riad.

The location is great as you can reach the main square in just 12 minutes on foot. Also, you can have a good stroll from the riad to the Medina. The area is sufficiently close to the main attractions to allow you to reach them on foot ( very safe area ) but avoids you the noise of the main areas...

Great experience all around. I was greeted at the door by name, even when I hadn't introduced myself yet. During check-in I was asked to have a seat and relax as I was brought tea and biscuits. Once my check-in was done, my bags were carried to my room and I was escorted to a lovely room with an attached bathroom. TV, air conditioning, and WiFi were also available. There was a lovely pool on the ground floor. On the rooftop there was a nice garden area to relax in. In the morning I was served breakfast that was lovely, coffee, orange juice, and water were all available. After check-out I was able to enjoy the garden and common areas of the hotel until I was ready to leave for the airport. They arranged transportation for me to the airport when I checked in and I was able to pay for the booking and transportation at the beginning of the stay. I give zero stars for the wifi. We got only one room on the top floor and there was no wifi in the room. We needed to go out wearing our warm jacket sitting on the terrace to connect to the internet. Another critic is you have to tell customer at the beginning they arrive or before check-in about the payment. Because we were charged to pay the one night stay in the evening which we have to find an atm next morning. For the breakfast, i would recommend you to just not serve a milk and orange, because it's not a healthy combination. Just avoid those combinations. Apart from that, the service was really nice. Staff are also super informative and friendly. I like breakfast with a lot of portions too. For the cleanliness i didn't find any problem. Overall i still can recommend this place

We had a truly wonderful stay at this riad. The place itself is stunning, with beautiful details and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable—they were not only incredibly friendly but also genuinely caring. One of our travel companions fell ill during our stay, and the team immediately helped by getting medicine and checking in regularly to make sure everything was okay. That level of kindness really made a difference. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting.
