Had a really enjoyable stay here, would definitely consider staying again.||||EXCELLENT LOCATION - just a minute's walk from the main square. This means that the hostel is easy to find, and its easy to orientate yourself - as it's not located in the medina, but still easy to reach all the attractions on foot. The hostel is also well sign posted.||||QUIET AND CLEAN - the hostel was very peaceful when we were there, and super clean. I do wonder though if the hostel would feel a little cramped if ever fully booked (it seemed new) as there aren't many breakout social areas. This was the first accommodation we had that didn't have flies!||||EXCELLENT WIFI - dorm beds also each had their own plug and light||||DORMS - Sufficient space, big lockers, bottom bunks also had curtains for extra privacy. Comfortable sleep. Bathroom was really clean and shower powerful and warm.||||STAFF - friendly and spoke English and French, only one person seemed to work at a time so sometimes there was a delay in the door being answered or breakfast being made.||||BREAKFAST - standard Moroccan breakfast - tea/coffee, lots of bread and jams, pancake and orange juice||||Considering that we only spent £10 a night each to stay here - I would definitely stay here again, excellent...
Read moreThis is the worst place I’ve ever had the bad experience since I had traveled in almost twenty years. The staff just like a volcano. and you never know when he’s in bad mood and then what will happen on you. one morning I had my breakfast just like normal and I took a cup of tea as everyone did. unfortunately when I took the tea actually there’s not too much tea left in the teapot. I don’t know what wrong with the staff he said to me that I am angry with you because you finish the tea and now I have to prepare the new tea. I was so shocked to his reaction so I asked him is there anything wrong that I had a cup of tea I am the guest here. and he told me stop it balabala.... later when I went downstairs another staff just came and greeting to me I just said I am not happy today and then the crazy staff shouted at me from upstairs he said go out after seven days and never come back. I prepaid for one week and I was really shocked. so I just checked out as earlier as I can. everyone there saw this and also the god there knows what happened. I just wanna share my experience. it’s really horrible place and I will never back for sure.
That’s funny! Such a big lier. Woooo..... Nothing to say. Don’t want to waste my time on lier....
Read moreThe best Hostel I have ever been to! They treated us like friends more than hostel guests and were heartwearmingly welcoming us.
The hostel is located in the heart of the famous old town of marrakesh, right next to the Jemaa el-Fna and the famous Souks.
Safety: we felt really safe. The street of the hostel is „guarded“ by staff of the restaurant next door, thag ask everyone who enters if they belong to the hostel or have a reservation for the restaurant. We also left our luggage at the hostel for 2 days during a desert trip without a problem.
Accomodation: The rooms are simple but nice, we had a room with 6 friends for ourselves and they gave us our own roomkey. The terrace for breakfast is nice and comfortable.
Staff: These are without question the nicest people I have ever met abroad! They helped us with everything and gave us their personal phone number for any doubts. They got us a reduced price for a desert tour, organized cheap transport from/to aurport, to desert and to Tagazhout. They offered to buy high quality spices for us for a cheaper price than in the souks and made us the best dinner we had in Marrakesh! (It was cooked by the...
