We stayed for a week at this Riad, with low expectations due to the cheap rate. We were given a room for three persons in the ground floor, just next to reception. The door didn't close properly, so we were constantly exposed to any outside light and all the noises from people coming and leaving. The guy at reception was quite nice and heapful, but there was no cleaning service during the week we stayed in. The room was equipped with a small mirror, a lavatory and the three beds, with scarce space to leave our luggage. So, although this was advertised as a hotel, it was evident that it just met hostel standards. You can ask for towels, toilet paper and hairdryers at reception. The shared bathroom wasn't often cleaned, so some days it was quite smelly. The place itself is located at a narrow alley near Riad Zitoun Lakdim street with scarce ilumination at night, so it could be tricky reaching the hotel the first day if you're arriving after sunset. The location is excellent, at the heart of the Medina, a walking distance from all the tourist attractions. The receptionist was helpful in arranging a trip to Ouarzazate, and also offered to print out our check-in plane tickets for a price. Overall, if you're on a low budget trip and staying for 1-2 nights, this place will do. Otherwise, I believe there are many better options...

There was always a smile on his face, he's a great point of contact for the hotel.||||The rooms were absolutely fine. Yes they were on the small side but as long as you know what you're getting then you won't be disappointed. In a double room there was enough space to move around a little and place our luggage etc, there was even a sink, table and coat hangars in the room which I didn't expect.||||The WiFi was very strong and constant.||||As you'd expect from a Medina riad, it has a great location a minute or two from the main square. It is down a side street but as long as you research which street it is in advance then you will find it as it has a big sign outside.||||Cons:||||The shower temperatures are a little difficult to control as you have to balance the power of the hot and cold taps to find the right temperature. However there was always hot water available which was a plus.||It is a little difficult to organize yourself in the shower as you'll have to take your clean clothes in with you as well as a towel and your dirty clothes, and there aren't any soap holders in...

minuses: There's NO wifi in the rooms, internet is only to 2 meters from reception, remeber about it that's wrong information by booking, i was very very unhappy if you don't have cash (local MAD) for payment for staying after arrival you must to pay +15% for commision and converting from EUR in you bank, because you can pay in riad only in MAD (very bad exchange rate in all banks MAD/EUR) rooms are not heating and in winter months you can have frozing tempreture, i had in january only 2oC in the room rooms are little noisy, because windows are without glass and you must to sleep with stopers room very small there's no service by the stay, nobody cleans your room all the week - so for sure it's no hotel some little problems like...
