Riad Alice Terrace & SPA — Hotel in Marrakesh Prefecture

I can't recommend Riad Alice enough. If you're looking for good quality, comfort and great staff, in a good location in Marrakech, I dont see how it can be done better for the price. A genuine holiday highlight. Stayed in 2 different rooms on different stays, both had firm but comfortable mattresses, good air conditioning, were beautifully decorated, and very well cleaned.

The staff were incredible. All of them. Toraia met us from our airport transfer and was incredibly helpful, kind and polite, serving us tea and giving us a map of the city with his recommendations of places to see and advice on navigating the souks, and dealing with pushy sellers and unsolicited local 'guides'. The rest of the staff we met, Mohammad, Mouha, and of course Alice her self were all amazing. So friendly and helpful, happy to help you with anything you could want or need, or just to have a chat!

We ate several times at the roof terrace restaurant, the food was better than most of the resteraunts we visited while in Morocco to be honest.

My partner and I also visited the spa. The spa is on site so not massive. A small hammam room and 2 ground floor bedrooms coverted to massage rooms, but again it punches above its weight. The hamam was great, but the massage was genuinely fantastic so if you're considering adding a spa deal, take my recommendation.

Lastly, location. Riad Alice is on the outskirts of the old town, but still only 10 minutes or so walk from Jemaa el-fnaa square. So within striking distance of all the main attractions of marrakech, but far enough out that you really feel you take a step away from the madness of the souk and can just safely relax at a genuine home away from home. If we're ever in Marrakech again there is no way we would stay...

Stayed in riad for 4 nights . Checked in by Mohammed and what a smiley man he is. Breakfast everyday was enough to set you on the way for the day. 😇

Booked a hammam spa - she was very good - nice humble lady and very good at her work.😉☺️

All the staff from mouha who knows everything about marrakesh and will do the upmost for you like Mohammed . 💪🏾👊🏾

Toraia and Fatima aka the cleaner and the chef both very humble and don’t speak much better they have very calm natural energy about them which is why I gave this establishment a 5 .😇

For me it’s about service and for this alone I enjoyed my stay , the room was n added bonus (shower pressure wasn’t correct & Alice had mouha fix it straight away) which was a junior suite all for me 1.

And last but not least alice , very very fluent in English , pretty lady with hosting skills that come natural . Every time I passed she would stop to ask how everything is and then we talk for 5-10min without feeling uncomfortable. I can honestly say this - she runs a tight ship but with love and empathy - Alice keep up the good work it hasn’t gone unnoticed. 😇

This place was amazing - I stayed in a few Ryads already, Marrakech generally has very welcoming staff. But Alice and her staff were amazing! Extremely caring, attentive, friendly, fun - as if you’re staying at a family who invited you to stay over a few nights. Such experience is what you come for - to enjoy amazing hospitality and lovely conversations, rather than just sleeping over and leaving. I highly recommend this place and definitely take hamam and massage services - it was the best! After that you surely sleep like a baby with renewed skin.

I out 4 for rooms just to set expectations - mine was rather small, but it was perfect for me. Also, the staff gave me an iron very quickly. Overall, it’s a great place and the best experience comes from the people at this Riad.

As for the place - it’s next to the road so you don’t have to walk to Riad, which is very convenient (most riads in Medina require a walk). It’s super close to Bahia palace and cute street with shops, so location is great and a bit further from the loud...
