Our recent stay at Assakina Riad in Marrakech was an enchanting experience that surpassed all expectations. From the moment we stepped through the doors of this luxurious Riad, we were captivated by its beauty, elegance, and the warmth of the Host (Michelle) and staff. Assakina truly embodies the essence of Moroccan hospitality, and we cannot recommend it enough for an unforgettable stay in Marrakech.

The first thing that struck us about Assakina was the stunning architectural design and attention to detail throughout the Riad. Every corner exuded a sense of timeless elegance, with intricate tilework, graceful arches, and exquisite furnishings. It felt like stepping into a Moroccan fairytale, where luxury and comfort seamlessly blended with traditional Moroccan elements.

The hosts and staff at Assakina were the epitome of hospitality. They greeted us with genuine warmth and made us feel like honoured guests from the moment we arrived. Their knowledge of Marrakech was invaluable in helping us navigate the city's vibrant streets and discover hidden gems. They provided excellent recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and cultural experiences, ensuring that our time in Marrakech was filled with unforgettable moments.

The accommodations at Assakina were nothing short of luxurious. My room was a sanctuary of tranquility, offering a perfect balance of traditional Moroccan charm and modern amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the en-suite bathroom featured beautiful Moroccan tiles and indulgent toiletries. Each morning, we enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast on the rooftop terrace, overlooking the mesmerizing views of Marrakech's medina—an experience that will forever remain etched in my memory.

The staff anticipated our every need, whether it was arranging transportation, organizing tours, or suggesting unique experiences. They took great care in ensuring that our stay was tailored to our preferences, creating an atmosphere of exclusivity and attentiveness.

Oh where do I begin,|If you could picture a beautiful haven among the hustle and bustle of old town Marrakech, it would come in the form of Riad Assakina.|The riad features gorgeous Moroccan architecture and truly outstanding hospitality. Your spoiled with Berber eggs and cream cheese crepes for breakfast as well as traditional mint tea and a selection of afternoon cakes to conclude your days busy activities.||Michele, Grant, Noelle and team, I truly cannot express how grateful I am, for all the effort and time you guys put in to making my stay as enjoyable and safe as it was. As a solo female traveller, my main priority was safety. On my first arrival, I was able to converse and ask as many questions as I wanted about the local area with Michele and Grant. Michele then walked with me through the town ensuring I knew where important landmarks were and that despite the traffic and business, it was very safe.||Michele and Grant, I will forever miss those deep conversations on the rooftop with our tapas and wine. I cannot describe how much I enjoyed them, it truly felt like home away from home. Noelle, I will miss your sunshine smile and kind-heartedness. Zac, I will miss leaving the riad in the morning and coming back late in the arvo only to find you still curled up on the same old chair I left you in. Minnie, I will miss your jumpiness and affection. |But I will miss not for long, as I will be back soon...

This is the second time we have stayed at Riad Assakina and we are already looking forward to our next visit. The Riad Assakina is impressive in many ways. You feel at home from the first moment, which is not only due to the great Riad, but also to the hosts and the entire team.

We travel a lot and have been able to see many great places. Marrakech and especially the Riad Assakina remain special memories for us.

The rooms are very large and beautifully furnished. Relaxation is very important here. Therefore, it is very relaxed and quiet, which is really pleasant after a turbulent day in the souks. Here you can also enjoy the English-style 5h tea with cake, tea or coffee. The most important sights (Badi Palais and Bahia Palace) are in the immediate vicinity and it is only a few minutes' walk to the famous Jeem el fnar. Therefore, the riad also offers a good starting point to the most important places.

We would also like to emphasise the warm nature of the hosts. Always a kind word and eager to read our wishes from our eyes, we felt completely at ease at all times. We can really say: "we came as guests and left as friends".

Therefore, we can absolutely recommend the Riad Assakina.
